Did the drone actually fly through the flames or were the flames at that point of the footage added in? If the former then how did the drone fair?

Out of interest how do you hand catch the Avata 2? What I mean is how does it turn off after you've caught it and turn it upside down? Is that something it automatically does when you turn it upside down or do you turn it off using the controller? Thanks.

I have a mini 2 for 3 years, i would love to try fpv but seems so difficult, and i cant brake drones and replace them all the time, is the avata 2 the way to go fpv?

The goggles does - not - work with the O3 unit - yet.. they have a long ass reddit thread on this.

I know ya guys aren't fans of the motion control. Flying with it and head tracking is just wild. The hand controls is intuitive from too many hours of flying aircraft sims except the drone is so much more capable than a fixed wing It is a great immersive flight experience. It's what I imagined flying was like as a little kid. Just fun.

This new drone do you still have to have 1 person out with you keeping look out ?

Are you sure that the goggles 3 work with the air unit 03? I called dji support and they said it doesn’t work. I just got the avata 2 package but I wanted to see if I can get some freestyle drones and use these goggles. Great video by the way, and thanks for the help!

Um... As of a month after this video released (May, '24), the Goggles 3 are *NOT* compatible with anything other than Avata 2 and Mini Pro 4. I really hope that changes soon, but that's the official word from DJI.

he settings in the app , strat recording in PRO mode, but at the desktop was disapointed as it was in normal mode and no stab data .....!

I just ordered one, should be here in a week. Have ONLY flown my 2 Mini 3s, and Mini 4 Pro, so this certainly be a FIRST FPV step out on faith! Gonna find some simulation first if I can. In combo with the motion controller, head tracking is the only way to do some moves. Not necessary with the real controller. I didn't put the time in to get good with this on the Avata 1.

I was under the impression it was plug and play but to get these two to work its going to take a little diy
