Might be late to respond, but it’s a sort of misinformation tactic that charlatans, snake oil salesmen, and other similar con artists use to trick gullible people into buying their junk. They claim that the thing they’re talking about has never been “truly explored” until they miraculously discovered all its “ancient mystical abilities” and the only way you can learn them is to buy their pseudoscientific bunk. You can be rational and mention the actual methods of scientific inquiry and analysis, but they can just claim that those scientists are pawns of “The Man” to keep the public down or something like that to keep the most gullible of their clientele on their side.

I _think_ I had an Astral Projection once, I was severely sleep deprived after days of staying up nearly all night and I briefly _seemingly_ left my body and looked down on myself on my bed. It was very vivid so I am not sure if it was a dream or not, but the experience stuck with me and basically scared me into better sleeping habits.

Yo... I was just having the same crisis. Is working and making money all there is to it in life?
@garfield21303 жыл бұрын
It can definitely feel that way at times, but hobbies and friendships can really round out your life even if you end up working a generic job. I personally can’t deal with a capitalist worker bee life, so I have decided to join a farm community so that my work gives back to my community and I feel I have value, but there are plenty of options if you don’t like the sound of that. I don’t know what stage of life you’re in, but working a career that aligns with your passions can go a long way towards staving off existential depression or burnout, i.e. if you’re interested in computers you can go into programming or computer science, or if you really like dogs, you could be a dog trainer or groomer. Welding or an electricians path is high paying and good for people who like physical work without much nuance, and farming is good for people who are good at working hard and caring for the earth/animals. Art has many pathways, such as graphic design, singing, writing, and dance, and if you’re good at talking to people and solving problems for others, customer service can be rewarding. If you like to switch between different tasks, secretaries or receptionists usually end up as a catch all for simpler jobs. There are infinite possibilities, and even if you’re stuck in a life under capitalism, there are ways to make it work for you and to live a happy life
