I don't think they changed Teemo's personality too much. He's only an unrepentant killer when he's on a mission because he flips a switch in him. Otherwise, he's a great guy when you have a drink with him. So I'd assume, since he's with his buds, he's just calm and chilling, but he'll become a sociopath when he's going solo.

I am glad they did somewhat expand Yordle lore in this animation. It’s not much, but it does it’s job in bringing wonder about Bandle city and Yordles as a whole. Teemo’s updated voice is a good change of pace. While they have been using the OS Teemo voice actor more often and using it as a template, just less squeaky and more of a normal toned voice.

I love how you can see Corki's Yordle ears pressed down and sticking out of his helmet. I like that this is an "updated" version of him that makes him more similar to other Yordles, despite that his in-game model and splash art still shows his "human" ears, n ose and overall more human-like outdated design. I hope they give him a soft visual update soon, even if it's just for the in-game model of Corki himself, not even the airship.

What I've noticed with this short, Lulu has cat pupils, with makes her look even more curious, compared to the other yordles. It's a tiny thing, but I feel like it's really strong feature of the character. Not sure if this is exclusive to this one animation, or just character design in general

I really like the idea that Corkies copter is an extention of his body. Ive been thinking about it for a while. All Yordles are innately magical beings but very few actually display any magical abilities (that we've seen) Most are just plucky or smart. I think that just like Yordles are deeply affected by the lands around them, they also effect the lands around them. That they have a unique unexplainable bond to the items they interact with everyday. Thats why their cobbled together inventions work even when they shouldn't, teemos shrooms don't explode when he touches them, and trist can freely lift and swing a cannon around that looks like it weighs more than she does. Just my theory

I think my favourite bit of the whole animation is near the start, right as Tristana spots Lulu she chucks away the journal and just starts desperately power walking away. She wants to avoid having the conversation SO badly and that helps establish Lulu and Trist's dynamic so effectively to me.

I love that instead of giving the gun of Corkis aircraft a more modern makeover in the short, they just modelled it after it's appearance in the game, where it looks very much like cut from the same cloth as the infamous pizza feet.
