I think Steve’s point in asking whether she understood how the social media post could be a problem was to push the point that it was a deal breaker for him. I don’t think he would’ve stayed if she couldn’t course correct. I see Noi so differently. She seems to have a bit of a bad attitude at times, especially when things aren't going her way. She is the one who is condescending to me. Remember her attitude when Steve took her to his mother's house and she low key was throwing shade. She made a comment about a teddy bear and about how he didn't have the struggle she did, as if it made him inferior. She almost seems resentful about his happy childhood. Also the time they were discussing what they could change about things that have occurred so far and he joked that he would have just ate the noodles. When he told her what he would like to see changed in her, she copped an attitude. She doesn't seem to fully appreciate what she has in him. I even felt that during the reunion. I agree with Marcus, she forced him to go there, because she wasn't getting it. I'm not saying that Steve is perfect but Noi can be annoying.

I'm going to watch Mike and jaz again because my first impression of the show was that SHE was the one cozying up to him. He looked really stiff. I think jaz loves to play make believe but when it comes down to that demanding mix of passion, tenderness and why the hell can't you put your drawers into the hamper she is just not ready. She's comfortable with him now she knows that part of their relationship is over. But Mike isn't up for it. As he said I already have 3 sisters ... so my bet is he won't be returning her texts. Am sad because he's a really great guy and she's a beautiful kid who got derailed early in life and doesn't know how to fix it

I think Angel and Melissa explained well that it's not that Noi misunderstood him: she disagreed. BTW: Steve speaks similar to many other ppl I know in the tech space actually - and it always comeds off as condescending from them too. It's the "obviously you're not thinking about this the right way" energy when the real issue, which to Steve's credit he later said, is that her disrespecting his boundary/core value is hurtful to him. I'd just like everyone to consider that Steve's evasiveness re: job/current resources/future financial plans also disregards Noi's core needs and was hurtful to her.

I think that Steve only agreed that he was condescending at the reunion just to agree tbh. I think he was being overly patient with Noi at some point and he was just trying to make her understand his feelings about what she was doing moreso than explaining to her what shes doing exactly.
