The TC Electronic Ditto Looper is an easy-to-use song creation and performance tool. Rather than bombard you with drums machines, metronomes and hidden menus, the TC Ditto provides 5 minutes of high quality 24 bit uncompressed audio and just one knob. The compact Ditto has a few simple footswitch commands that will have you recording and layering in no time, not to mention using the undo/redo features to construct your loops. A volume control adjusts the loop volume while your analog guitar signal passes through unaffected at all times. Plus, the TC Electronic Ditto Looper is the only pedal of its kind to offer true bypass switching.

Andy proves once again why he does some of the demos. Simple but effective. I liked how he stopped after recording each part, instead of continuing to play. You were actually able to hear the looped part. A small thing, but a nice touch. I wasn't sure if I was interested in purchasing a looper, but now I pretty sure I will. Thanks.

I saw this and bought the looper about 5 years ago. I watched a lot of videos about looping and this pedal. I have enjoyed the ditto but always struggle a bit trying to tap just at the right time. Today I watched it again and saw the "arm at any time" part. Not sure how I missed that, but doing it that way made it much easier..lol. And Andy is just a fricken awesome guitar player and could sell a TV to a blind man with his demos. I hope he makes a great living doing it. He has long since left this channel and Reverb. They were more than lucky to have him. Andy is the man..

You know, considering that the Boomerang III is almost $500 and 20x more complicated to use, and considering that all the Boss units have timing issues and tons of useless bells and whistles overcomplicating things, I'd say this thing should blow the competition away.

I'm ordering this pedal today. I went into my local guitar shop to grab one, which they didn't have and was talked into a much more expensive, way more (needlessly) complicated Boss. They also sold me the wrong adaptor for it. I returned it today and I'm never going back to Long & McQuade. They're too busy talking about their next gig to give proper customer service and I'm now left with one choice. Continue enjoying Andy's videos and shopping at PGS. You just earned yourself a new customer!

Tore taught us a great trick for not having to hear the loop before it clears. At the finish of your performance, instead of double tapping, hold the second tap to clear the loop immediately. Then you are ready to record a fresh one.

I picked one of these up about 2 years ago and my guitar playing has gotten much better. The reason? When my friends are not around to jam with, I still have somebody to play with... Me! Though I'm not good at playing, it still helps a lot with timing, soloing practice and creativity. Worth the money (~$100).

One problem I had with the Boss RC series is that the boss-style switches were bad for looping as I felt I could be more on-beat with a 'tap' than a 'press'. The Ditto is so simple and easy and has my preferred switch type. The Boss range also has loads of features I never used - 90% of the time I was just looping some chords live and playing over them. Sure for people into really complex looping, multiple parts punching in and out, people who want to bring in pre-prepped loops from a DAW, etc. the big high-end loopers are what you need but I think a huge number of players only want Ditto-like functionality.

It is a great pedal. I have owned the Ditto, the Ditto Stereo, and now I have had the Ditto + for a few month. I used it a lot and do enjoy it very much. I have downloaded from KZbin or Spotify and organised my tracks by style (rock, blues, jazz, bossa...) and kept space for my own working tracks. I am on Mac and things cannot be more easy as I see the folders in the finder, so delte, add, modify is easy. One thing I miss and I would have loved is the possibility to slow down or speed up the music. That would have been a great feature for people who consider the DItto + as a traning tool. Maybe a future microcode update (hey TC can you do it ?). I do recommend this pedal to all my guitar friends.

this is a great tool for jamming by yourself in your room, or for a guitarist that goes out by themselves for open mic nights or solo gigs. i play guitar and sing, with a looper i can create layers or just record the chord progression so that i can break out a solo or two. don't have to rely on other people (most of my buddies study in other cities), and can gig whenever it suits me.

I find myself re-watching this video solely because I love the way he plays High & Dry by Radiohead in the opening, This makes me want this pedal so bad, not only because looping pedals are so amazing and this one is perfect and simple, but because I wanna play High & Dry just like that. Soon I'll have one! My gear isn't the best and I need to rebuy a lot of stuff. All I have right now is an Epiphone AJ220ce (which I truly adore) and a Fender Frontman 212r sadly. I'll get a MIM Strat which I will eventually get different pickups for and I also plan on getting a Fender Princeton Reverb. The first pedal I get will be a Strymon El Capistan, I'm a delay head and that pedal looks like my holy grail. Then I'll get the Ditto looper. Then I'll get the Strymon Blue Sky. Here's my wishlist for pedals that I will eventually own: Proco Rat Distortion/fuzz (hopefully the older vintage one) MXR dyna comp EQ pedal Tuning pedal Volume pedal Boss DS-1 And many more!!! Seriously though, the opening cover is beautiful. I cannot wait until I have the technology to do this!
