Thanks for making this. Seriously considering getting one for a small board.

600ma? Ack! My Ojai only does 500ma per outlet
@jmtab2 жыл бұрын
@@mattgilbert7347 don’t quote me on this but I believe 500 mA is ok as long as you have the extra ‘headroom’ available on the power supply. Add up the draw of everything plugged into it and if you have extra mA supply it should compensate. Confirm before trying!

@@jmtab Sounds right - and I can always use my Truetone CS12 which underrates each outlet in terms of ma.

@@mattgilbert7347 Anderton’s on their review video mentions this and they tried with 500ma and couldn’t get it to fail so you should be okay.

Nice demo! I just wonder why TC Electronic keeps using USB mini instead of a type C, but it's a great unit!

What are the benefits of one over the other?

@@mattgilbert7347 No benefits. But I will need to buy a mini USB although I have 5 or 6 USB-C in my house. 🤭

I was ecstatic when TC came out with this version; I have an intentionally small board with this as the time-/modulation-based effects centerpiece (though I have a dedicated reverb pedal after it as well, both running in stereo). Two boost/drive pedals ahead of it and all into an ACS1 gets me a lot of versatility in a small form factor.

@@robertcarhartjr6234 Same here. I will order it for my birthday in august but when it came out, it was an evidence as I was looking for a multi modulation unit. I will have a few drive/boost/dist added and will too keep my reverb and my delay pedals right after. I will use a delay and a reverb for soft presets. And the others for more ambient parts.

@@robertcarhartjr6234 How do you like the Walrus ACS1?? I just sold a DSM & Humboldt Simplifier, thinking of the Walrus as a replacement.

There are many parameters in the individual pedals and to manage them you need an app. Is the Plethora menu fully manageable without the app?

As you can see, this youtuber is only here to sell his shit.
@robertcarhartjr62342 жыл бұрын
Definitely; you can always jump into edit mode where the three knobs control the parameters particular to each pedal. Perhaps you need the TonePrint app for truly deep editing, but I suspect that’s overkill for most players.

Does the loop trail? I know we're stuck with one toneprint per loop, but at least can the delay/reverb trail off within said toneprint?
