I have the TCL 4 Series 50S446-CA 50" TV (Google TV OS). Which I only used this as a PC Monitor attached with my MSI GF75 10UEK-003CA Thin Gaming Laptop. The Gaming Performance is Superb when you Enable Game Mode and the Graphics Quality is so Crisp like it Upscales 19020X1080P gaming to 3860X2160P naturally. Which I've Tested out Cyberpunk 2077 the demanding Game I've noticed the Picture was so crisp. This is a Superb Budget TV for Gaming I love it so much.

Why the heck all reviewers seems sad it doesn't do 4k at 120 like every freaking GPU can pull that off outside of a 3090 TI with rocket league, specially knowing PS5 and XBOX don't have the hardware for that either(there is a massive amount of trickery involved to try to "support" 120hz), in 5 years sure it maybe become an issue but today is a non factor

I gamed for over ten years on pc and don’t get a 144hz monitor until around 2018, the 60hz never bother me, because I wasn’t constantly whipping my cursor around enough to notice any motion blur. I just got the S4 class 50” 4K tv ordered today to replace my old 1080p tv that’s only 60hz but has been great for gaming. Can’t wait to set up the new tv.

I have the series 50s431 model the SDR and HDR look very similar but the HDR can have a more natural color tones depending on the video processing

I saw another review that showed this tv doesn't actually have HDR10 when using Xbox. Is there any way you can confirm that the HDR10 is active when using with Xbox? also does the 120 Clear Motion Index work with Gaming or is it just for tv?

@Surf's Up I got one. They only perform on hdr10 for Xbox. It's not a true 4k monitor. But for the price she looks great mounted, movies look amazing and gaming is gaming.

I notice all the reviews saying this tv is under $300 for the 50" some say the 43" is $230 and yet Amazon has it for $311 for the 43" did the prices on tvs just go up that much in 8 months or were these some serious sales happening when these tvs first came out? One of the drawbacks of having a budget hdr tv. You can set your picture settings to hdr brightest and it might help. Also when you calibrate your tv for hdr set your brights high

I worked at amazon, most Tv's are laying flat on their back to consolidate them on Pallets. Im not scared of that, took a Samsung 55in 2600 miles laying flat with 4 wraps of bubble wrap and it didn't do anything to it at all. We just picked up a 75in s434 model, after being a Samsung user for 5 years (new one each year) I'll see what this has to offer.

I've had a tcl 4 series, it's not very responsive and doesn't support 120hz, this is not a good tv for the new generation of consoles. Even the 60hz is sluggish compared to my monitor. I would only get this for a last generation console or for only watching tv. The picture quality is good on the 4 series, but the performance ruins it for me. The hdr is terrible too. Once you play on something with great response time you will see what I mean. I don't know why this person thinks it's great for gaming tbh
