To log out of all accounts on your TCL Google TV, you can follow these steps: Method 1: Remove Google Account from TV Settings Press the Home button on the remote control to display the Android TV Home screen. Using the TCL Android TV remote control, navigate to the Settings icon. Under General Settings, scroll and highlight Accounts & Sign-in. Press OK to confirm. Select and highlight the account name you want to remove. Press OK to confirm. Scroll and select Remove account. It will ask you to Cancel or OK to confirm deletion of account. Method 2: Remove Google Account from Google Account Website On a phone or computer, go to your device in your Google Account (myaccount.google.com/device-activity). Make sure you're signed in to the same account as on your Google TV device. Choose the Google TV device you want to remove your account from. Select Sign out. Important: If you remove all the profiles on the device, your device will be factory reset. By following these steps, you should be able to log out of all accounts on your TCL Google TV.

You deceive people with this video. The problem is to remove all acounts like before google tv launcher. Leanback launcher was used until android tv 11 by google. You could use no acount and install aplications from apk or remove the one you had after instaling the necesary app. You need no google or even internet for home usage in mediaplayers, moonlight, file viewers etc

Does anyone want to buy a google tv CHEAP...55 inch... I'm sick of this...seriously. I unhooked the tv and took it off the wall mount. It's ASININE to have to do all of this JUST TO WATCH TV!!! It's going on craigslist. You know, I feel like these devices are NOT mine. Samsung, Roku, google whatever they force you to do things you don't want to do. My Iphone especially Apple does more to it than I use it. As far as webpro education said in their comment. I should NOT have to do all that just to watch a f*****g TV... While they offer convenience and features, they often come with some level of data collection and privacy compromise. YOU CAN SHOVE THAT STRAIGHT UP YOUR A**!!!

Do you already remove your account? And what happened now? Your account and data are not deleted, right?

So, I got a google tv... I have to make an account just to watch TV??? Really? So, they are like roku and samsung? You can't simply watch TV without giving these multi-billion dollar scumbags your personal info? They can ALL ESAD!!! All I want to do is watch TV.. not have my personal info sold to the highest bidder...seriously than can all go to hell!!!!

I understand your frustration! It can be annoying to have to create an account just to use a device, especially when all you want to do is watch TV. Yes, Google TV, Roku, and Samsung (with their smart TVs) all require you to create an account to access their services and features. This is because they want to provide you with a personalized experience, offer recommendations, and enable features like voice control, streaming, and app downloads. However, I understand your concerns about privacy and data collection. It's true that these companies collect and use your personal information to target ads, improve their services, and sometimes share it with third-party partners. Here are a few things you can do to minimize the amount of personal information you share: Use a throwaway email address: When creating an account, consider using a disposable email address or a secondary email account that you don't use for sensitive information. Limit the information you provide: Only fill in the required fields when creating an account, and avoid providing unnecessary personal information. Review and adjust your privacy settings: Once you've created an account, review the privacy settings and adjust them to your comfort level. You can usually find these settings in the account or device settings. Use a VPN: Consider using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online activity from being tracked. Opt-out of targeted ads: Look for options to opt-out of targeted ads or personalized recommendations. This might limit the amount of data collected about you. Keep in mind that while these steps can help, they might not completely eliminate data collection. If you're extremely concerned about privacy, you might consider using a non-smart TV or a device that doesn't require an account, like a traditional TV or a streaming device that doesn't collect personal information. Remember, it's essential to be aware of the trade-offs when using these devices and services. While they offer convenience and features, they often come with some level of data collection and privacy compromise.
