Isn't the ACUPUNCTURE BIG PICTURE HARD TO MEMORIZE? Printing out that blank sheet and just writing it over and over again, but still MISSING PIECES OF THE BIG PICTURE? I hope this video helps you study for the acupuncture board exam and helps you actually REMEMBER the big picture and remember all the important acupuncture points on there.
Studying can be super stressful, I hope this video helps you gain confidence in Acupuncture as a medicine. The road to being an Acupuncturist is long and hard, but the road is where you pick up all the TOOLS you need to gain MASTERY over acupuncture so you can help as many as people as possible
Here's a secret, it doesn't end when you pass the boards, it just begins - when you're treating patients you'll find out and learn SO many things about the human body, the human spirit, anatomy and physiology, the list goes on and on, and you'll learn EVERY SINGLE DAY...
so until that day, I hope you keep coming back to STUDY ACUPUNCTURE WITH ME

@@studyacupuncturewithme Hey! Thanks so much for responding :) I had a question...in your everyday practice, do you utilize 5 element theory diagnosis or do you choose points based on organ disharmony/patterns etc? As a a junior treater in my 2 second year of acu school, Im trying to figure out which way I want to use as my primary means of diagnosis and its helpful to hear what other practitioners use. Thank you so much for all of your videos! I instantly subscribed after watching this video as I have final this Friday on the big picture and ALL the points (I'm dying inside lol). You've been a GODSEND!

best of luck in your 2nd year!! that's a great question, depending on the person i'm treating i'll use different methods of treatments... in my main arsenal of treatments I use a lot of electro-acupuncture, unless I'm finding the patient won't benefit from it... either i'll use my PT background and use neuromuscular bundles with electroacupuncture near joints/muscles of pain.. i'll use huatos to effect myotomes/dermatomes if they are having sinew stiffness, joint or muscle pain etc... sometimes i'll use specific point functions based on what organ or channel is in disharmony.. another method i like to use is the confluent points extraordinary channels... especially for emotional issues... lung 7 kidney 6 for example for emotional issues basedness in long term sadness... or insomnia etc... for my evaluation i combine organ/channel theory with orthopedic/neuro evaluation the sky is the limit... i would emphasize for you to project yourself forward to the end result.... what i mean by that is, what kind of patients do you want to attract? work your way backwards from there to figure out which way you want to use as your primary means of evaluation/treatment. thanks so much for asking this question!!

I have been working and studying for my last board - Point Location. It has eluded me 5 times and I seem to keep missing it by 6-7 points. Can you help with tutoring?
