The pattern of the program is 10:10 minutes.In the begining Dr.Mehrub took time and asked different questions which were answered beautifully. So, then it was Mr.Raja's time to ask questions(that he asked if people want SHARIAH would you accept that? & Dr.Mehrub raised a counter question while he/she was boud to answer). To keep the decorum of the prograam its obvious that Mr. Raja was not bound to answer when it was his time (10 minutes to Question the opponenet). 2. Dr.Mehrub didn't know about 22 Points (Even if Mr. Raja had explained in his time (questioning time), Dr.Mehrub wouldn't understand)

5:38 misinformation/correction: Allama Iqbal passed away in 1938, where as Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940. Did Iqbal give the statement on Pakistan Resolution from his grave? It was not Lahore/Pakistan Resolution, but Allahabad address(1930). Additionally, one statement to the rulers(British Govt.) through 'The Times' does not represent Iqbalian Theory as a whole, thus the letter, which was sent to a repressive authority, falls short of recognizing the true narrative of Two Nation Theory. Leaders may be examined on their personal views, which may have some inconsistencies; however, it is worth mentioning that the collective will of the people of Pakistan was truly a movement for an Islamic state.

Sharia can't be implemented in the modern world of trade & technology. you'd have to do loads of mental gymnastics to get it up to date with the present times and that's where the problem lies - there won't be consensus on the translations & adaption of Shariat so even if a compromise is reached by all someone will standup and say this is not Sharia and the debate will go on.

@@govuxyz fair point, but then that is the issue with liberal or secular democracy as well. So how do you solve it ? you don't, you find a middle ground and then enforce it. If we start viewing things that way, then absolute monarchy or dictatorship are the absolute best things. The difference of opinions and argument happens in congresses and parliaments and senates too. No law has 100 percent support of all representatives so if sharia is being considering as a system, it has to involve large number of scholars , perhaps just as many as the representatives in Parliament to make it work. It does not stop you from technological advancements or adoption or creation of technologies. Sharia does not say once should stay away from robotics or computing or aerospace engineering. Yes, there is strict stipulations against certain trade practices, commodities or financial transactions. But then those are exactly the reasons it should be tried.

Secondly, everytime Dr Awan speaks, she sounds so well, however, when Dr Raja speaks he just makes everything nullify dr awan says in a very polite, and realistic way. Muslims want sharia law in their own country, but secularism in non-Muslim countries. Oppression on Hindus is increasing day by day in Pakistan. Never did these religious traders raise their voice for the protection of people of different opinion. Just like a parrot, Islam sings the religion of peace by heart. Buddhist-Jain-Confucian religions never sing that our religion is the religion of peace like Muslims. Only Muslims sing this. By the usage of Muslims one can understand whether they are really peaceful or non-violent.

​@@dhakacity6574Bro let me explain you in Islam it says that Sharia law is not applicable on non-muslims it's applicable only on Muslims so by saying we want Sharia law in all Muslim countries mean that only the Muslim population living in the country will have to follow Sharia law not other religions people and to deal with them there would be a separate law system based on their majority likes and opinions for example in Sharia law if someone steals his hand should be cut off as a punishment so if a Muslim will steal his hands will get cut off but if a non-muslim steals his hands will not be cut off rather there would be a different judiciary system for them made and based on their religion or their culture or their likes for example if a non-muslim steals he will get 3 years in prison etc, so Islamic Sharia has nothing bad to do for you instead it is good for you as it gives you ease economically too as in Sharia Law the Muslims every year have to pay 2.5% Zakat (charity tax) to the Islamic Government but Non-muslims have to Jizya Tax which is lower than Zakat tax I don't remember the percentage I guess it was 1.5% every year but it is less than what Muslims have to pay. You guys can live freely as you want in a Sharia law country if Sharia law is implemented 100%. You said Muslims want secularism in other countries but not in their countries it's not true we want either a separate law system that is Sharia law only for Muslim population and the majority follow their Religious law system or Secularism or if they don't give Sharia law for Muslim population than they give us at least secular system instead of their culture or religious system. Islam is a very peaceful religion if you follow and implement it 100%. Thank you ❤

My viewpoint is Dr. Moiz needs more clarity in her own thoughts and beliefs, besides this she has good communication skills but lacks of respect and patience in debate. Raja Shb did very well, but in the question of practical implementation of sharia's best example, I think he less emphasize on answering it, historically the best implementation of Sharia is period of Khilafah, however military campaigns do fade or dismantle the systems (i.e communism in case of USSR), same is the case with Sharia.

Secularism is NEVER the solution, electing the right people with right background and character who'll impose Sharia law aka superior law on the country, letting go of the sheep mindset, stop thinking of westerners as your step daddies and stop pleasing them, stop insulting your own country online (which people do for no reason at all), and following the law is the correct, tested, proven and fruitful way for Pakistan to recover and get ahead in the competition. Secularism brings destruction, religion doesn't.
