That answer on view is incorrect. You can not make any changes in Actual data table using a view.

It has two answers. one is the editable view where u can chane the actual data and another is the non-editable view where u can nt change the actual data.

yes u can if the view is a simple view(bases out of only one table). view editing is not possible for complex views(having more than 1 table and multiple joins).

If your update is affecting multiple tables, then we cannot update the view else we can update using the views.
