I have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. "Peaceful" protest is an extremely under statement in this case. Blocking bridges and main roads and highways with trucks for weeks, and blowing their horns all day and night in both business and residential areas , putting the supply chains of the country as hostage to name a few is hardly a "peaceful protest". For example-If were neignbors and we disagree, i'll block your doors and driveway, stop everything going your way, including food supply for your family and business...blow my horn night and day in front of your house. Just because i dont agree with you. I dont think youll say "thats valid, he's doing it "peacefully". Not to mention the multiple high powered unlicensed guns found and seize from protesters in Alberta. What theyre doing is plain and simple economic sabotage. Anarchy is never a way to protest or air grievances. They dont have monopoly of opinion. There's always 2 sides. Theres the legal and proper venue for that.

Like locking pastors in jail. Like passing mandates without any real due process. Like destroying businesses that are run by families while enriching big businesses. Like bowing to BLM but not even willing to talk to these people about mandates before they even got to the bridge. Like telling Jews in their own Parliament that they stand with the swastika and not willing to spologize. Sorry but Trudeau has made it clear if your not far left of communism he won't even acknowledge you as existing. Either way they can enjoy their authoritarianism, we have our own to fight in this country. Usually I answer all comments more fully but with this one I have to work and try to make a living rather than try to bring up all the counters to some of the information you brought up that I have counters to. Either way thank you for the civil and well written comment.👍

@@verdier4006 Point taken. My argument is not with one person-not with Trudeau. My argument is what the Truckers are doing with the Canadian economy-which is affecting negatively the whole country. Im not even saying the Truckers' concern are not valid, not at all. What im saying is HOW they are doing it. Theres a famous quote "THE ENDS DOESNT JUSTIFY THE MEANS" the truckers means is destroying Canada's economy. That actually gave Trudeau a reason (which they shouldnt have provided him) Truckers already lost their case even before they present it because they are putting their point across thru illegal means. Just for the sake of argument, If the truckers are given what they are asking. It will set a precedent. In the future, everybody who disagree with the Govt, will say - "huh, ill just disrupt the lives of everyone and the Govt will give in" you and I know thats not a good thing for everyone and any govt on this planet wont allow it-its gonna be wild wild west or as I said Anarchy. Everybody lose. Thats all. Thank you.

@@canpin I think the fact that they’ve gotten this much attention and some of the Canadian provinces have started to ease restrictions is proof that their methods are working. All that with only a few minor property damage reports is about as peaceful as it gets. I know Canadians don’t have a constitutional right to protest like we do in the states but as someone who doesn’t even agree with a lot of what their pushing for, I wholeheartedly support their ability to protest and pressure their government.

@@aidanmoran3881 lets put it in perpective. These truckers who are protesting are against Vaccination mandate for truckers. Please note, 90% of Canadian truckers are already vaccinated. Thus were talking of only 10% protesting. In any democratic country like Canada and US, majority wins. Thats just how it is.

@@canpin just because someone is vaccinated doesn’t mean they support forced vaccination of others. Myself and most people I know down here in the states are strongly against forcing vaccines on people yet we are all vaccinated. I know the numbers are a bit different in Canada, but the means to which the Canadian gov has gone to suppress these protests is pure authoritarianism.
