Love Satechi products and you did an amazing job with the review in this video. I just wanted to mention I literally laughed out loud when you popped in the SD card and asked “is that right” since I know it feels backwards.

I thought both I own turn unusually hot… until I realised that all the heat you feel on the outside is at least not burning away components on the inside… Suppose it’s a cooling design feature like on macbook pro’s

I’m trying to use one of these as HDMI adapter to my Samsung curve monitor and my MacBook Pro isn’t detecting it, any ideas why it might not be working? Thank you in advance if you see this!

Satechi Mulitport Adapter V2 I have a Macbook Pro 16 Max and when I plug this product into my mac, without anything else plugged into the “hub”, it gets really hot? Why is that happening? ( There is literally nothing going on with the “Satechi Multiport Adapter V2”, it’s all empty ports and it gets hot ) I am really confused?
@tdcattech2 жыл бұрын
Mine gets quite hot too but not dangerously hot. Maybe 50°C. I assume they use the case as a heat sink allowing a reduction in size of the unit 🤷🏻♂️

is it possible to connect with charger
@tdcattech2 жыл бұрын
Yes. The USB-C is a charger input (there is no active USB-C on this hub)

Would the HDMI Port do 1080p at 144hz? Or 2K at 120hz?
@geekgamingnetwork958 Жыл бұрын
Yes, it does. However, I doubt it can do 4k 60

Does anyone know if you can use multiple ports at the same time?
@tdcattech2 жыл бұрын
Of course. There may be some resource sharing going on but you can plug multiple devices in at once.

@@tdcattech Awesome, if your looking for a video idea, it could be interesting to see how much it effects the speeds E.g using a 4k monitor while downloading something off a hard drive.

Hey do You know if it’s compatible with iPad Pro 2021 with M1 chip?
@tdcattech2 жыл бұрын
I'm afraid I don't have one to test it with. I would say it is providing that iPad OS supports this type of device.

@@tdcattech bit late to the party, but I’m using it with the m1 ipad. Seems to work the same from initial testing.
