Great review Cody! The designer was also working on a ruleset that combined Triumph & Tragedy and Conquest & Consequence into one super game (Conquest & Tragedy) - worth a look!

Yikes! That would be a super-game that would tear a hole in the space/time continuum!!!

” I gave the game away, and I kind of regretted it”. Heard that lime from you many times - kind of funny by now 😊

Yeah - frankly, I just can’t keep them all.

I like Triumph & Tragedy too - it's great for a 3-player game. I haven't gotten C&C to the table yet either; I hope to. I do wonder if diplomacy has the same scope. I'm impressed with Orange Swan also - it looks very similar, but has some yet different rules. I particularly like the Island Control approach, although have some concern about combat resolution. Best at 2-player, I think.

I definitely want to try this and Triumph. I hope GMT make a Cold War economy builder, I think there’s a ton of interesting possible gameplay with the kind of asymmetry that would come from planned/socialist and capitalist economies.

Sounds like fun.

I know T&T wasnt designed for solo play but i ve had some fun solo sessions playing all three sides; it looks like C&C has a solo mode, did you tinker with that at all? Love all the videos, keep up the great work on both channels!

Thanks. No, I haven’t tried this as a solo experience.
