TDG: Dark Moon

BSG is my favorite game of all time and when my friends introduced me to it years ago it’s what got me into this hobby. I own the base game and two expansions (Pegasus and Daybreak. Can’t find a Exodus at a good price.). I also own BSG Express and this game and love them all for different reasons. Hidden traitor games are my favorite in the hobby.

BSG is top three for me. Dark Moon is a reskin of BSG Express.

I sadly, can never find a copy of BSG in my price range. So after watching this review I decided to pick up Dark Moon. We will play it either Friday or Saturday. My friends like the idea of it so I hope it will be a big hit at my table!

Well, we played it this weekend and yes, you were right. We REALLY enjoyed it. We played 4 times! This will be breaking into my top 10 easily! I played both sides and loved it.Thank you for your review!

Great!!! I can't get a regular dedicated crowd for Battle Star, so I don't own it yet, but this might just be the thing to use as a springboard.

Thanks for the review Cody. I have never played BSGE but we did play BSG with the BFG at My FLGS. They had a BNIB copy we opened up for a lower than MSRP and we played. In summary I guess sometimes shortened versions of things are OK but don't always replace the full experience. Glad this game is good though ;) :)

I do not like BSG and to a lesser extent Shadows over camelot. That being said. I enjoy this game. (and homeland for some weird reason)

I like Homeland too. But I also love BSG, Shadows Over Camelot, and now Dark Moon, too.
