We cannot come to Jesus with our spiritual hands full of our accomplishments, titles, and egos and also expect to have the capacity to receive His blessings. However, when we come to Him empty-handed, we’re able to receive all of Him! Sometimes, we get so distracted with our desires that instead of finding room for God, we try to fill various voids. By doing so, we fail to leave room for God to bless us beyond our performance. Regardless of how life ebbs and flows, let us acknowledge our God in His ability to pour into us everything we need to give Him glory!

I've been through a season of loss to degree its got to be something spiritual, I'm trying to mourn in my own time but move on with the present & keep stepping every day toward the future. And on Thanksgiving day today, as I read of those with family members losing their lives to Covid & more mass shootings in the news this week, I am just simply Thankful to have a present & future, as I sit today. Thankful for Bishop T.D. Jakes, you have been guiding me and revealing to me what I'm unable to see for myself when I pick up a Bible. Your gift of 'extrapolating' the people, roles, relationships & situations in the Bible is god-given and you teach & bless untold people. I pray this evening for unification within families, relationships, communities, globally and open minds & God impressing his intent & desires for us, on our hearts.
