I love the hater's argument. "What if I don't use metal weapons?" Of all the sessions of D&D you played, how many of them were specifically in a DUNGEON fighting a DRAGON??

Look forward to these episodes. I've read the draw steel rules cover to cover a few times. Going to play test the scenario at the end of August at my next in person game day.

I'm eagerly looking forward to the backer packet. Still preparing my own Draw Steel! setting on my channel and would love to see how skills, skill challenges, and (of course) monsters work in order to incorporate these into upcoming environmental battle maps. Also, love your coverage of the game! Keep it up!

lmfao, I also think mouth feel is a Contrapoints refence.

I think so too! But it works even without the context

so now "the DS podcast" works either way... and is still much smoother than "the tmcdmrpd podcast"

I swear I didn't know Draw Steel was going to be the name lol It worked so much better than I could have ever hoped for

I’m wondering if they’ll be able to run the Chain of Acheron heist game with Draw Steel?

Your use of “mouthfeel” was the trigger that pulled me to your review, so there’s that. It was definitely great copywriting. However, the more I hear about this game, the less interested I get about it. It gets more apparent with each playtest they have absolutely no vision and are just throwing stuff to see what will stick. Seeing rules at this state definitely makes me think less of the product-cause it seems to me it won’t be able to successfully move past this state.

In my head I'll probably call it Draw and Steel. A much worse name but i have a thing for consistent naming schemes
