So suga is from deagu (day-gu) and there's this joke in the Fandom where we say he is from the slumps and used to be in gangs. But in reality he did grow up in the rough parts of Daegu. He was also a underground rapper (Just like joon) and I'm pretty sure his inspirations were people like Eminem. He used to sell his mixtapes on the street after school and allot of times led to him getting scammed. His parents weren't very supportive in the beginning but this obviously changed. The now chairman of hybe entertainment scouted yoongi (suga) and told him he would be joining a rap, hiphop group if he joined the company as a trainee. Suga wanted to make sure he wouldn't had to dance like other idol kpop groups at the time. This obviously changed again as they were known as one of the most synchronized groups at the time of their debut. What I'm trying to say, is that suga his rap experience comes from raw talent and from wanting to become rich to escape the harsh community he lived in. As he got older he realized money isn't what he wanted but it was happiness. BTS provided this for him. His growth is visible in his rapping. All the experience of depression, hate, and bad situations led to him growing a voice like no other. And btw yall did react to ugh by BTS rapline but it was a long time ago)

I truly thank my 2 older brothers for introducing me to kpop and to BTS when I was just 11 years old. I literally grew up with Kpop and BTS music. I always trusted their music and passion for writing and performing. And this is coming from an ARMY since 2014. Ive been with BTS for 9 years now, and Im turning 20 this year.
