The guy with blonde hair that you are referring to is RM, their leader. He is a rapper and one of the the main songwriters of BTS. He is a master of wordplay, and the genius behind the content of BTS songs, along with the other 2 rappers (Suga and J-hope). Yes, they write most of their songs themselves.

I think a lot of westerners overlook BTS for a couple of reasons first is the preconcieved notion that they are a typical "boy band" and they arnt. Second is that they sing in a different language which puts some people off.... almost all of their songs have closed captions so you can tell what they are singing. They are a Superstar group with every member being a Superstar artist in their own right. Everybody is so different in personalities but they worked hard to form a friendship between themselves that they bonded into a family. Also they dont have any egos when it comes to music and what is best for the group. They also support each other in everything they do always hyping each other. Im 69 and a grandmother and I considered it lucky that they found me they have changed my life for the better and make me try to be a better person.

After living together almost half their lives, 11-12 years, they function like a well oiled machine....they're so talented that they are able to just have fun....I'll bet they can read each other's thoughts, finish each other's sentences. I'm 65, but I am so impressed with their talent, brilliant songwriting, composing, producing, instruments, vocals, rapping, dancing and especially their message. I'm impressed that they were able to accomplish so much while still continuing their education...all have bachelors, 3 have masters and the rest are working on it. BTS is unique in that their Label, unlike other Kpop Labels, did not 'force' anything on them....they were given free reign and became successful through their own hard work and dedication...very unusual in the Kpop industry, which can be an awful business to be in. Labels have been accused of 'slave' contracts and fandom 'wars' have brought about false accusations and death threats....yet BTS persists. Their company is always this detailed, but they aren't, when they don't want to be. The first rapper is RM. Their harmonies are always incredible. They've been doing this together for ten years. I'm so glad you are discovering the magic of BTS. They are amazing artists, writers, composers, producers, dancers and performers. With over 300 songs, they have a massive discography of just one hit after another..... I've been ARMY for over 6 years. It's the best decision ever! I'm a new subscriber.

All of them have a custom mic color and (mostly) matching in-ear (I think JK's in-ears are sometimes red and blue instead of purple). The outfit coordination is more a function of their Big Hit team, I think, alhough they do have preferred colors (Jin likes to wear pink, for example, because ARMYs have told him they like how he looks in it). What impresses me (from a fashion perspective) is that they always manage to coordinate beautifully without being matchy-matchy (except in the very beginning, when matching was pretty much all they could afford).

Best medley ever. Their vocals, the rap. Just having fun. This FESTA made specially for ARMY and they picked such amazing songs. Always perfect outfits, their mics, ear pieces, everything is always perfectly planned and done. RM always have that strong voice and presence, they are extremeley talented: the 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. I love this set cause you can hear their amazing voices so clear. When you say detail-oriented, I've got to hand it to both the group and the production team. You see it in their MVs, their choreo, the aesthetics or theme in their clothing, their lyrics more often than not, a lot of things. The guy at 4:47 is RM, real name Kim Namjoon. Group's leader. I've kind of learned that if there's hype around something, there's probably a reason for that. So whenever something gets really popular nowadays I try to look into it instead of being dismissive. There's always a possibility of discovering things that you come to love beyond words. BTS is one of those things for me. I can't express how much I love them or how much joy they've brought to my life. The only thing I regret is not finding them sooner. ARMYs always say you find BTS when you need them, and usually I agree, but personally I needed them way sooner lmao. Enjoy this. They are truly such a pleasure to be a fan of. one of the members once said that if people listen to them without prejudices then they will like them. i'm just paraphrasing the actual quote here but this is what the core message was. i think one of the reasons we all like watching new people reacting to them is because so many out there are just like you - ignoring them for whatever reason for years, or having some stereotypical thoughts on them before that just made you not look and listen. i think that can be a very human thing, but what i love more is people giving them a chance and getting absolutely turned around. and the great thing is that when you check out bts you'll 100% turn around because all their work in every aspect (discography, lyrics, mvs, performances, the bond between members, their story, etc) is impeccable. the quality speaks for itself. and that's the greatest thing.

Loved your reaction dude! I too "didn't know". I went down the rabbit hole a couple years ago and I haven't made it out since. These guys are absolutely incredible. This MV came out during all the lock-downs and it was their only way to "communicate" with ARMY. I liken their set to a living room. They're just chilling/jamming over at somebody's house, singing some songs, dancing, just having fun. They're incredible. I subscribed to your channel. I am really anxious to see more BTS reactions. Omg… I went to the same situation.. 2017 a teenager was into BTS and was like nope no way.. they too cute and young!! I too old… but 2020 a co-worker told me to watch dynamite.. I was kinda hooked. Then when a watched the tiny desk concert and fell in love with them. I actually got to know their faces and their voices. My proudest moment was when I knew who was singing without seeing who it was!! ❤

I can never say it better than other ARMYs about the details but I’ve been ARMY for 3.5 yrs and I was like ‘Wo who is THIS?’ when I saw them first on SNL IN 2019. Welcome to the Army! BTS' discography (300+ songs) has something for everyone. I enjoy the banger title tracks, but IMO the treasure is in the B-sides. I found kpop in 2010, and when BTS debuted in 2013, I fell in love. fell into the rabbit hole, and can't get out. If you need answers to any question, there will be an Army who knows the answer. RM (Namjoon real name): the blond guy rapping, the leader of BTS, composer and producer. JungKook aka. JK: purple mic- lead singer he is know as the golden maknae since he is the youngest of all and is very talented in everything. His vocals are the most stable of all bts members you will almost never hear a mistake form JK V (Taehyung): Green mic, he is a baritone form the vocal line, he likes jazz, soul and R&B music Jimin- Blond hair with silver mic. Jimin has an angel voice, very unique and has a degree in contemporary dance Jin- light green mic. He is the oldest of the group, he mostly sings ballads. Jin learned to dance and sing when he was 20, so he has "less" experience than the other members. Suga aka. Agust D- also has a silver mic but brown hair. He is part of the rapline, also composer and producer. Jhope aka Hobi- blond that dresses like a sailor scout. Part of the rapline, has a background of hiphop, lead dancer of the group.

Each member has a custom mic with matching in-ears, and they change them out for new designs every year or so. So in this vid, the matching purple hair and green sweater are coincidence, but also YES, BTS and their team definitely *do* pay mega attention to little details. I loved that you own up to stubbornness keeping you from enjoying things in the past. We're all growing humans! I know many ARMYs will recommend into guide videos on BTS so you can get to know them better, but once you've covered the basics, I highly recommend watching xCeleste's video on BTS's hardships. When I was new fan, that video was a turning point in helping me truly understand their journey and what it means to be ARMY, which is fundamentally about supporting them and each other through good AND bad times. There are 4 main singers and 3 main rappers. However they can all sing and rap. They are fabulous! I am 66 years old and I am amazed by them. All their songs have meaning from money to mental health ( Suga suffers from depression and is very open about it). I like that they take topics that mean something to them and make music about them.

He is the leader of BTS, and we call him our President cause he is so proper when he gives speaches, had imcredible leadership skills and is so smart. He is my bias also(my favorite) Has an IQ of 148. He is an amazing lyricist, producing and composing abilities and is on of the primary composers of the bands songs. They have this aura, lyrics, vocals, rap and especially the personalities that can capture people and by the time you find them, you'll feel why you're late to discover the magic of Bangtan boys. Better late than never. I found them.. nah, they found me in 2015, when I was hitting the rock bottom in my life and their music, lyrics, personalities and their words to never give up in life and that they're with me together in the darkest path of my life, helped me in various unexplainable ways, and now I'm the happiest I've ever been in life. It's so fun to watch someone give BTS a chance and then fall in love with them. But don't beat yourself up about not giving them a chance earlier. I think much of the music or artists that we listen to are WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get. But BTS is more like Dr. Who's Tardis or the tents in Harry Potter. From the outside, it looks ordinary and predictable, but once you open the door and enter, it's a whole wonderful magical world. The diversity of song genres, the range of their talent, the amazing performances and videos, their genuine fun personalities, and the relationship between them and Army make it all so different. And there are many doors that open to the big world of BTS. For many KZbinrs, it often comes as requests in the comments section. Now that you're on the BTS journey, you can wander through the comments or ask for specific suggestions. Armys are like master sommeliers - they can suggest content that meet your interests. Try it out, you'll be impressed.

Thing is that there is this preconceived notion that whatever is really popular or hyped up is popular for artificial reasons. And sometimes it is but sometimes it is just that good. Unfamiliar person may think BTS are so popular bcs their label paid media and tv shows to hype them up. But reality is they got popular despite media and tv shows down playing them. First in Korea and now in the world and US. This is why they had to come up with alternatives and do their promotions and vlogs on YT. Even now when they have money to pay radio or media they do not do it. Their success is organic. If media was doing BTS justice it would be whole different stories

I discovered them 9 years ago and it never gets old for me. What sets BTS apart is how much fun they have together. They genuinely see each other as brothers and lived together for years. They've only fairly recently moved into their own apartments. Seven young men living in a tiny apartment and sleeping in one room as they did at the beginning should've been a recipe for disaster but their CEO Ban Si-hyuk gave them a way to settle disputes which made them stronger. You'll enjoy learning about them as people just as much as learning about them as artists.

I'm very happy that u like and enjoying BTS. If u get into them u'll never regret that. They are not only great artists but they are great from both outside and inside too. They are so different from other artists. And the best thing abt BTS is they write and produce their own songs which is very rare in kpop industry. They have 300+ songs so u have a long journey And I was like u before. Almost every friend of mine are ARMIES, 2 of my friends are blinks, 2 are multi stans and 2 are not kpop fans and all my other friends are armies. They didn't told me to watch or listen to BTS but they were always telling how good they are but i didn't care bcz i was not into music that much but I'm so happy bcz now i'm a part of ARMY family
