It's amazing to see the reactions of people when they see someone beloved to them. Her warm smile and beauty is something that we've all seen thousands of times, and finally there she is! Who doesn't love the genuine human being that she is?

In the early days of Dollywood, she used to ride around on a golf cart through the park. She stopped randomly for pictures pre-selfie days, and she would sign autographs. We visited yearly for several decades. I loved going to Cherokee also. The history there was epic.

Adam, I wish I'd known you were in Pigeon Forge at that time. My family and I were there when you were. It would've been awesome to have met you. The Old Mill is delicious. The parade was pretty great, we were watching down by the arcade. I only wished the weather had been nicer while we were there and that the road to Gatlinburg hadn't been so bad. I'll certainly be glad when all of the fires are gone though. Sad to see that area that way but glad it's recovering
