My wife didn't appreciate her 11 week puppy responding to show your balls. I personally think its the funnest thing on the planet! Thanks you!

This was very helpful! My dog would just contort her head to get the treat. Then I switched to a softer surface and now she’s very comfortable being on her back. Thanks

Hi from Australia. I see your dogs place a high value on the treats. I hear you call them cookies. What exactly are they?

Hi Troy! Believe it or not, that's kibble (Go!)! I usually use kibble for most of training and supplement with Zuke's or a similar small soft treat. But the dogs are used to working for their meals and love it!

How does the dog rember all the tricks and not get confused with them
@DoggyU3 жыл бұрын
Having clear cues and assigning them to the behavior once it's learned is part of it. Making sure our cues are clear, and working on a couple behaviors and not ALL the behaviors at a time also helps :)

Hey, troubleshooting question. All was going well with this trick, but when I said to my dog “Show me your balls!”, he paused, looked up at me and shed a tear. He was recently neutered… How do I rephrase this trick to not remind him of his missing manhood? 😂

Take it slower, reward sooner for just minor movement, and build on that! :)
