I don't love staying after school on Fridays, but sometimes it is nice to stay a little later. Usually it's pretty quiet, and you can get some things done without much interruption. I use that time to tackle the things that keep popping up at the beginning of the year that I still haven't had time to take care of. As always, your video feels so positive and 'real'. Thanks for the extra effort it requires. We appreciate you!!

We check-in every week at our PLC or grade level meeting, so we never get too far off track. If someone gets behind for whatever reason (it happens to all of us!) we just talk about what can we combine/maybe skip to get caught up.

When you are meeting with your small groups for math, what are your other students doing?

They always have a todo list to complete: some kind of independent work, workbook pages, task cards, iReady math lessons, etc. and choices when they are done!

No and no. :) It goes 40 minutes after our contract hours.
