I really needed to hear these words of encouragement in these trying times. I'm in my 5th year of teaching and have been experiencing a season of drought in my career. Most days I leave my classroom, at the end of a long day, worried that I didn't do enough, say enough or care enough. This came along at just the right time. Thank you! Prayers for Mr. Doud.

I am a homeschooling mom of 10 children, and homeschool for 9 years. In my children are struggling, because of the covid restrictions. In as a parents we are a role model to our children, because the bible encourages us to teach our children. You encourage me to become a better mom, and homeschooling teacher. This really hit home. Thank you

This touched my heart when it was first aired on Focus and I have the recording in my library. It still touches me. I didn't have a teacher like him.

You should have Kathy Nimmer on your podcast/episodes. She’s a remarkable human being. She’s totally blind and has won the teacher of the year award in Indiana couple of years back. He’s also a great model of the Christian faith. I hope you consider her.

22:00 Something that's need to be noted, the term "Greek mythology'" is an historical mainstream inaccuracy, that is because Mt. Olympus (the home of the gods) was located in ancient Macedonia, on Macedonian territory. The term should be applied as Macedonian mythology or something else of the sort.

Hi. While it's true that the term "Greek" in ancient times may not have directly referred to the modern-day country of Greece, it is still commonly used to describe the civilization and culture that flourished in that region during ancient times. The term "Greek mythology" is widely recognized and understood to refer to the collection of myths and legends that originated from the ancient Greeks, regardless of the political boundaries of the time. The term "ancient Greece" is used to encompass a historical period that spanned several centuries and was characterized by the dominance of city-states such as Athens and Sparta, so the exact boundaries and political entities varied over time. Ancient Greece was not a homogeneous entity, and various regions within it, including Macedonia (but a long time before Macedonia existed), had their own unique histories and contributions. However, Greek mythology, as we commonly understand it, emerged from a broader cultural context and was not confined to any specific country or region. So, while the terminology might be imprecise in a strict geopolitical sense, using the term "Greek mythology" is a widely accepted convention to refer to the mythological traditions that arose in the ancient Mediterranean world, primarily associated with the civilization we now refer to as ancient Greece. Hope this helps :)

@@4asovoi Thanks for your reply, I want to point out that the term "Greek" was generally first coined by the Romans, meaning foreigners. The real Greeks were the Danai, who were African/Arab arrivals to the Peloponnese and lower islands from about 650BC onwards, they were pirates and marauders, mainly used as slaves to the Pelasgian/Macedonian population of the lower Balkans.

It’s a shame that many of the things he says here would be considered politically incorrect or offensive now. We have lost much value and knowledge by suppressing the content offered by caring and devoted people like Mr. Doud.
