Reminds me of my past.. I was bullied by an assistant principal in elementary school, and when we moved and I changed middle schools, he was there, too.. One day, at the end of lunch, he accused me of putting a knot in the tether-ball rope.. lol.. No kidding.. I didn’t even play tetherball.. lol.. So, he called for a meeting with a parent.. And my passive mother wasn’t available, so my dad showed up.. When my dad found out what it was about, he lost it.. He told the guy don’t ever call me away from work about anything so trivial, and in fact, don’t speak to my son anymore, at all.. Don’t even open your eyes at him, or I’ll come down here and jerk a knot in your tail.. It worked... Never bothered me again.. Different times..

I got embarrassed by my teacher. I was in 4th grade and it was one day and it was a character lesson day and I forgot it was a character lesson day so I asked One of the helper teachers in the end I didn’t think that they were gonna tell me I think I thought that they were going to forget to tell me if it was a character lesson day today so I asked my teacher Mrs. Willis and I didn’t know so you know what she did she she embarrassed me in front of everybody she had three out of the four teachers like Mrs meure Mr. combs and her embarrass me but Mrs. meure was sorry and I think mr combs was sorry to and so I asked Mr.combs if I could go to the counselor and me and her talked and I felt better

When I was in 6th grade I had this intimidating French teacher and I was always late bc the building was separate and I was slow and she told me that if I was late again she would give me detention. Now I had never gotten detention before. I tried to explain but I guess I was in the wrong. And I got so stressed out by this that I always asked for a pass to French even if it made me late because I was scared and stressed. And when I told my friend he went to report her bc she did this to him and others. And in seventh grade the same teacher complimented my glasses. The same teacher who yelled at me was now complimenting me??? I was so confused.

Tuesday and Fridays teachers are just giving the students a chance to redo their work to an acceptable standard and to instruction and there was nothing belligerent about the way they communicated this to their pupils. How would have these cotton wool kids got on in the 80s when a simple spelling or grammatical mistake got you an absolute thrashing (physically and literally) from their teachers?
