Very good advise. We often forget to give ourselves grace because we are so hard on ourselves and we know what we could do but we need rest, breaks and permission to make mistakes and it be ok. Ooop I think I'm talking to myself too. 😉 Take care

Have you thought about being a tourist in your own city. People travel to California to visit and you could create your own adventure each week, treat yourself to new outfits, a visit to museums, festivals, special events, art exhibits, and etc. Also, you could makeover one of your rooms and create a beautiful sanctuary.

I hate being cold, so I get it! 😅 Yes to bags, I am a cross-body girl. I understand I have to balance between productivity and free time. Have you ever considered higher education? Maybe teaching at a community college/private university in-person or online? Hope you enjoyed your birthday!

First of all, praying that we all be well. Secondly, Happy Birthday 🎂! Thirdly, had you ever considered being an online teacher. That way your videos can help classes for extra understanding as well it can be used for homeschool teaching for those homeschool parents who need better explanation to kids . Fourthly, im so glad you mentioned the documentaries youve watched because i forgot i wanted to watch the Nickelodeon and Wendy Williams one. Not so much Freaknick

Always love your vlogs! I feel like spring break was a million years ago! So much going on as we deal with the school year and everything that goes on each day. The end of the school year is so close but also so far away it seems. We can do this!

Last week was hectic for sure.😅 I'm always glad to watch your videos because it reminds me that as teachers we are in it together. When you said 8th graders suddenly think they are grown... yes, girl! 😮 they have comments for everything. 😢 35 days left for my county. 🎉 we can do it.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Overdressing for the cold weather 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I get it. I moved back to SoCal after living in the Mid-West for a few years; When it’s 50 degrees out here, we need the scarves and mittens but back in Illinois folks are happy because 50 degree weather is time to wear shorts and sandals 🎉🎉🎉

Happy Belated Birthday! You turned me on to the Sweet Vanilla Cold Brew. Only one of the Starbucks gets it right. The other ones lack vanilla. How many pumps should I ask to have it more of the vanilla and sweet taste?

I was about to say, “Are you the only teacher doing extra curriculum???” But I get it. The thing I remember before becoming a mom, my employer just knew I would be reliable to do extra whatever. I believe being single with no children, causes a person to feel guilty for having so much time to ruminate vs those with children.
