Hurting people hurt others, and those parents have to find something better to do. Do not allow these emotional squatters to take up any residence in your life. Take care.

1) I have found that those that complain about the school or teachers the most would never consider doing the job themselves. When I hear people complain about my school district I want to send them an application so that they can come and show all the experienced people how it is supposed to be done. 2) The only people that I "know" in California are the KZbin people that I watch. I hope you are safe and far away from the wildfires. 3)Dogs are my favorite creatures on earth. I love when I get to see your fur babies.

The moms sound like they are in kahoots with the parents of the kids that were in your class last semester. Is your administrator dealing with the moms and supporting you? It’s good that you have a lot of experience in education that you can manage this kind of b.s. as it can be stressful. Are the moms also going after other teachers that have social media such as instagram? Tick tock? Facebook? If not, I would ask them what their REAL issue with you is. This is pure harassment and that’s a crime. Also, I’m in the same boat as you in the sense of reevaluating my next steps in this career. Some food for thought is you could work part-time next school year (e.g., half-day) if your district allows it, and explore other jobs with the extra time you’ll have. You could also try a “no-spend” year to increase your savings to allow you to take a sabbatical comfortably should you want to in the future.

I'm gonna throw this out there about these moms...Is the "company" you mentioned a couple of vlogs ago one of their exes? And obviously you don't have to respond to that, but there are so few things that I can think of that would warrant such behavior. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

I am sorry you are dealing with the messiness of teaching! I absolutely can relate to your experiences. I find it ridiculous that you do not teach their scholars, but they are giving so much energy to divisiveness and ignorance. Keep sharing from your classroom because they want you stop! They want to see an interruption in your life because they are unhappy! There are teachers who need to see and hear your work and dedication to students and their successful outcomes! 😊

Dear Unrealistic Moms Creeping Around on Tanya’s page, Let it go!!! How dare you impede on content that is not for you?! Rhetorical. As a parent you do not have any right to demonize anything teachers do. A hurt dog will holler ladies! No one goes to these lengths of stalking teachers online unless they have a guilty conscious. Leave her be and focus your attention on your children being up to par! Your parent behavior isn’t giving tiger mom. It’s giving creep!

Before I left Education 4 years ago, I was a resource and inclusion teacher and it was SO much better than the classroom. I didn’t mind paperwork and working with small groups and assisting teachers was nice! I stopped coming home so emotionally exhausted, which was always the case as a general ed teacher. I had energy again. I came home cooking, exercising, etc! With this position, I also moved from a regular public school to a magnet school of only about 500 students total. Some of my former co workers became interventionists to leave the classroom. Eventually, the state took over the district and everything went to hell. I took it as God telling me to get out for good. Four years later, haven’t looked back. I subscribed to you in my first year of teaching in 2014❤

Soo glad to see you! I'm happy to hear you're really focusing on yourself and what you need. Teaching is such a unique profession where it is so incredibly hard to have those boundaries and to "leave work at work." I know I struggle with it as well. I love watching your teaching videos and have learned so much from you over the last several years. I do hope you continue to post and share things about your classroom and what you're doing. But I understand if you are moving into a space where you can't do that anymore. Hope you're well and in no danger from the fires.

🎉GOD shall prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. Psalm 23:5. Sounds like you've got hallway monitors looking for something to report. So sad. I remember a friend's story about a parent who raised hell at their child's school for 3 years. The parent made continual unreasonable demands on the school, the board, and the district. By the end of it all, this parent's own family was ripped apart in the process. I'm not sure if it was a result of the drama the parent caused with the school or if the drama with the school was started because of family problems. Sad sad irreversible ending. You keep advocating and building community. You are sharing actions of a socially & emotionally well educator. ❤❤❤

Those moms that "watch your every move" AND THEY ARE NOT EVEN MOMS OF YOUR CLASS are called haters. They have to troll, have an opinion and feel some type of way about you totally unwarranted. Please don't let them continue to live rent free in your brain. They don't not like you.... They love you and they hate that they are not you. You mentioned the friend who thinks so highly of you and you don't know why.... It's because you have a light and it's beautiful. I see it and feel that way too. That's why I watch. You are so put together even when you are not. I'm trying to get my life together as a single person and watching you gives me hope that I can in a very classy and attractive way. Idk if this comment makes since but in a nutshell... The way you carry yourself is beautiful stop letting people who don't matter break you down. That's what they want to do because they don't like that you are so organized, stylish , educated, attractive, just put together as an adult and not on that boring childish other vlogs that do wigs and makeup and we watch them clean their house yada yada yada
