I love your wealth of teacher experience and knowledge, enthusiasm, energy, organization, and especially that smile and "bye" at the end of your videos. For a class assignment, I was referred to "6 Quick Tips for New Teachers," and now I am hooked on watching your videos as time permits. Hopefully, I'll get to implement some of the ideas in the near future.

Been watching your blogs for awhile now and been incorporating a lot of your setup into my room. Curious how are you binding your books. Every binding machine I have checked seem to be comb binding and not spiral.

My five year old son who is watching this with me got so excited when your son was talking about my little pony. He often gets picked on for liking a “girl show” and gets so excited when he hears other boys say they like it too

I absolutely LOVE the books you have been making, especially the workbooks for your students!! I also love the idea of making a teacher copy for book clubs. I do have a question. When you and your partner teachers find resources for the clubs where do you typically begin your searches, other than Teachers Pay Teachers? I am truly interested in making some of my own units and materials and am always looking for places to find quality resources to either inspire me or actually use. This video was chock-full of great information and teacher hints!! Thank you, Bridget!!

So happy to see a teacher vlog! I feel like most of the teacher youtubers I used to watch have switched to insta and I don't like it (though I'm sure it's easier to post things). My district does NOT do cyber-snowdays. But we also have to make up snow days and we haven't had one yet....so I'm kind of hoping at this point that we don't get any because I want to get out early this year!

Im a 12th grader. in high school and I have made the decision that I want to become a teacher(since I was 7 I wanted to be a teacher but I didn’t know if it was the right job for me) I want to be a second grade teacher or a third grade teacher because I feel like those can be challenging grades and I would love to teach those grades but one question when test are coming up and things I think that it would be a good thing to like pass out a paper to see if everyone understands and pull small groups for the people who don’t understand I was just thinking if I should do that in my classroom one last question during the end of the year do you ask your students like things that they think will make the classroom better also I love 💕 your channel so much

I really love your vlogs and videos. I bet drinking Diet Coke is one of the biggest causes of you health issues. Drinking that stuff is so bad for our bodies. I mean regular sodas are awful for our systems but diet sodas are even worst. I hope you don't take this comment the wrong way because I am not meaning to sound judgmental but diet sodas are so bad for you. I genuinely care about you ❤, you are so talented and so kind in nature and I would love to see you contuinly doing well. Blessings!
@BridgingLiteracy5 жыл бұрын
I certainly did NOT take it the wrong way at all. I am very aware that soda is part of my issue and am working on changing that. Although, my problem now is that I am substituting coffee for soda which isn’t any better. 🤷🏻♀️ baby steps right? It’s a habit that I am working on breaking this year ❤️
@mckenzieshawcroft14705 жыл бұрын
@@BridgingLiteracy Coffee is actually a LOT better than soda! There is research that suggests drinking a lot of coffee is actually beneficial (as long as you don't add milk or sugar, or try to minimize). A single can of regular soda has 36 grams of sugar, which is like 8 teaspoons. As long as you put less sugar in your coffee than that, it's an improvement!

It is really nice seeing an actually teaching vlog of your week. However, are you going to sponsor Hello Fresh on every vlog you do? It's a bit annoying. sorry, harsh I know but you seem like a spokes person now...

Gina Moyer it’s not even Hello Fresh… She’s putting out a free product. Making something off it is necessary when she’s spending her time creating said product.
