I actually heard that the words incubus and succubus came from words meaning "to lay on top" and "to lay under". Meaning neither is explicitly male or female, but rather what position they take during sex. Apparently demonologists back in the day lacked imagination and just assigned top to male and bottom to female because of course they would.

Episode 6

Verosika probably my favorite antagonist I.M.P has faced yet even including the remaining 3 episodes that are out at this time. Her character is a look in to Blitzo’s past. They dated at one point, which would imply that Verosika did like Blitzo once, as depicted by the tattoo she has of his name in a heart, now X’d out. She’s voiced by an amazing actress, Christina “Vee,” who’s had many roles in cartoons and anime, and even a cover of a song called “Bad Apple” here on KZbin a couple years back! She and the character she plays in Verosika are both incredibly gifted. Back to Verosika, she and the female members of her crew are Succubi, the male members are Incubi, demons from the Lust circle of hell that prey on mortal desires and smexy inclinations. Additionally, Verosika has a hellhound working for her as well, Vortex. Also fun fact, Verosika had fan art and adult ‘fan art’ of her ALL over Twitter within the first 5 minutes of the episode dropping a few months back lol. Next on our list is Loona, who definitely gets the most development of the characters we have in our main cast. As comments have already told you, she’s Blitzo’s adopted daughter! As someone who was adopted myself, it’s heartwarming to have this representation, so I’m thankful to Vivziepop for that 😊. OH, and we obviously saw a new trick that Loona has being able to disguise herself! We don’t know if the Imps are capable of disguises, as we only see Verosika’s crew, Loona and Vortex disguise themselves in this episode, but maybe they will down the line. Millie did AMAZING in this episode, and I think she redeemed herself for how she fared in this episode, unlike the last two where she got knocked out by the Murder Family in episode 1, and dragged away by that rodent at the end of episode 2. When Moxxie’s in danger, her love for him makes her an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. Lastly, Moxxie! When everyone found out that Blitzo dated Verosika, and Millie was trying to get details, Moxxie told her to stop, before she put him in his place and reminded him he’d wanna know what sex with Michael Crawford was like; to which he responded “…touchée.” Minutes later, when Moxxie tries to reason with Verosika’s group to return I.M.P’s parking space (the whole reason for conflict in this episode), when the male incubus tries to make a move on Moxxie, he turns down the offer not out of disgust, but cuz of his morality to not cheat on Millie, bless his heart 😌. What I’m getting at though is that Moxxie is canonically bisexual, noted by Vivziepop herself! Blitzo was also said to be pansexual, defined by his relationships with Verosika and now Stolas! Between these main characters, as well as the one-off humans in this episode and all the different pairings we saw with the Succubi/Incubi, I again really appreciate Vivianne Medrano’s diverse cast of characters!

Verosika is voiced by Cristina Vee who also did tons of voice work in Shantae and the Seven Sirens she also does singing she did Dance through the Danger and in this episode she sang Bone Town and I am glad you two liked the episode now not that long until the funniest one and as usual loved watching you two react.

Little Lore I thought you would like to know: They are 7 circles of Hell each representing sins, The main one is the Pride ring which has an overpopulation problem (more explain on the over population in the original series: Hazbin Hotel.). Imps and Succubus are the original creatures from Hell, all other demons were humans, but it has been proven demons can have kids in Hell.

This episode focused more on Loona and her role in IMP bit also on how Blitzo is seen by her and of course blitzos past and how his relationships affected him (It plays a role in later episodes). Btw the 4th wall break in this episode is m, favourite of all in all episodes that aired until now.

With the guy that vomited then asked Blitzo if he was a leprechaun.. did you notice that his vonmit had a straw and what looked like a giant gummy bear (nor possible small teddy bear)? I liked seeing the startled look and "whoah" from Coach when Loona yelled at Blitzo. "Can imps get drunk?" ... wait for it... and there it is! The amusement from both of you was a delight to view. At the end, when they first show the police surounding the succubi, is a fun scene if you pause it. Besides the regular police and 3 mounted police, a helicopter and a SWAT team, there is a bomb-defusing robot and a clown. Yes a clown

Yea, too bad most other reactors dont do that...they talk over everything and miss like half the jokes because theyd rather banter during their "reaction" than pay attention to whats goin on. and then they make stupid comments or act dumb because they didnt hear or see something.
