Please help me. I have a problem. When I save the image and open the place where it is saved, the window of the program you drew in it opens. The drawing should appear without its own program as an image.

I have been using Krita for a while and enjoying it overall but after watching this video my appreciation towards Krita has greatly increased. Till now I was not aware that Krita was so much more than just another of the many Photoshop alternatives. But damn Krita is super freaking goood. Though I haven't used a lot of Photoshop features but the features which I just saw in Krita like able to detect objects through it's AI ( if I'm correct ), the ease of use and so many brushes with lots of different things to do are all so good and fun to play with. The people who have contributed to this open source project are really intelligent and hard working, keep up the great work and also you too Teacher's Tech 👍

@@imageofanapple4455 Not technically... But its a portable program and the best way to share brushes and configurations is sharing the whole thing since it doesn't weight almost anything; so people give it away like candy. Also it's not getting support nor updates and it doesn't require registration, so there isn really any risk of losing your files

Adobe’s days are numbered. I started using the online photoshop alternative Photopea this week for basic video graphics titling after our latest Photoshop upgrade refused to open a native .PSD that worked just fine months ago. Subscription software and constant updates are a big creativity downer. Kudos to developers of apps like this and the apps that move the industry and creativity forward without needing a money grab I.e. Davinci Resolve, Photopea, Gimp, etc.

Here's the link :) docs.krita.org/en/user_manual.html You could print whatever is most of use to you there. I'd also like to suggest making a practice canvas to fool around on! Click on every single tool and just play around to see what it does. Change the parameters, mess with colors, etc. Doing is the best learning for sure. Happy creating!

I've been using gimp for 13 years and this program seems more powerful. I already see many things I can't do in gimp.

emanandchill - Wow, GIMP will be 24 years old this Saturday (15th of Feb)... I had no idea that it was a 90s program.

@@DaveLennonCopeland Oh wow. I overestimated. It's been 13 years for me. I started around 2006-2007. Never used photoshop even though I could've. lol I could just do everything i needed in gimp anyway. And gimp was way easier to learn everything. If you didn't know you can actually download extensions for gimp to add features to it.

emanandchill - I've been using GIMP for about 6 years now, it's still my goto art program. It's easy to learn, as you say, and above all, it's free... Adobe Photoshop is ok but at £540 ($700) and/or some weird subscription price, who would really want it save for professional digital artists... And yeah, I do know about extra downloadable GIMP plugins, Script-Fu and brushes... I tried the Krita program, but still go back to GIMP... :)

Thanks a lot However, I realized the brush is very pixelated, is there a way to make it smoother? Does it have something to do with a vector layer?
