I was incarcerated from 98 until 22. So basically, I missed all of the real tech growth: social media, smartphones, tablets, Google, KZbin, basically the internet, email, Amazon shopping.... In fact, I watched my first KZbin video in 2022 and learned how to turn on a computer that same year also. I also found out about ChatGPT right away, and that, and then Bard, and now Gemini, is how I've been learning how to do EVERYTHING. How to organize Google Drive, how to create a Google Sheet, how to edit videos, and how to do everything you need to do on KZbin to make a video. I've been waiting to see if anyone was going to put this out there. I'm always telling people that the world has just radically been changed with this ai technology. If they hadn't figured it out, your video just completely showed them.

It's amazing how quickly technology evolves, and it's great to see you embracing it all. AI truly is changing the game for everyone. I was hoping the video will shed some light on how fast things are changing.

Fascinating! I was considering using Gemini 2.0 for tutorials, but I am really more concerned that Google is scraping data, so showing my screen with whatever private information is on it - including how I use the apps - will compromise my personal security and privacy.

I tested this out with unreal engine and blueprints. The ai understood everything I said perfectly and even paused whenever I interrupted it and finally gave me a hint to a new solution which worked, but, the session always lasted only around 8 minutes and always crashed. I tried 8 times and every single time was the same. One day soon, when everything will be streamlined this will be a game changer. Fantastic!

fun part is.. it can output code for blueprints or anything else. I tested it in blender and controlled it only with my voice. I mean i asked to make scripts to make some changes in 3d and it did that. asked with my voice to add, modify and animate the scene, add lightning and everything else.. I can't believe myself but this is crazy.. it,s like a J.A.R.V.I.S. from iron man

I have to agree with others on here that I still would like to learn from a real person on KZbin. It's similar to AI generated written content. It's useful but lacks personal insights and personal experiences. However, I do see how KZbinrs will really have to up their game when it comes to creating tutorials.

Thanks for this great video. I'm a big believer of adopting change and tutorials are a powerful way to do that. However, the challenge with tutorials is that they get outdated pretty quickly, especially in the world of technology. Case in point: I'm working with a science student who needs to learn Python. Now there are countless tutorials on learning Python but I'm showing her on using AI as a tutor. Your video is a direct answer to this use case. Being in front of a screen both have the same context. Brilliant! On your point re pivoting you can become the enabler for people to adopt AI by showcasing the tools' abilities. This actually opens up your target market 😎

Great job with the video and thanks for sharing. As a college professor, this is something that I can use to help students. This is a gem, no pun intended. I don't think that it will eliminate KZbin tutorials, but this is something that many may use, just my opinion. I think what you do and I do involves some caring and mentoring, which AI can probably do. I look at this as another tool for myself and more so for the students. Thank you again for sharing. My last find is NotebookLM which is amazing and students love what it produces.

No need for tutorials. Just skip straight to doing. I Microsoft Copilot the thing I want to do, in my video editing software and it gives me step-by-step instructions on how to go about it. No more user guides! Another great example of Copilot: my son was stuck in a videogame trying to beat an end-level boss. I took a photo of the screen and uploaded to Copilot and asked it to identify the game and provide a walkthrough on how to defeat the NPS boss and it did that, perfectly!!

I think that real person trainers will continue to exist. I've been an instructional technology coach for ten years now, and many of the teachers I work with do not want to learn to do the steps necessary to have Gemini teach them something. Or, they don't want to be taught by machine. We still have staff that complain about having to learn to use Google's suite of office tools to replace Microsoft Office products. I'm not saying that things are never going to change or that the number of trainers will stay the same, but I'm not running out to enroll in a new masters program any time soon.

Problems in communication. Even with a high wfi upload and download connection speeds, it still breaks off coms, and then you have to start all over again as it doesn't remember where you left off. Especially with complex Excel formula sheets. It also interrupts you when you are busy still talking, and the chat becomes cluttered and then decides to throw you out. I had problems with it not telling me to divide or multiply, and it just spitted out cell numbers without divisions or multiply actions when asking for a formula. It also talks too fast and you have to repeatedly ask it to slow down and repeat. I guess it's still in it's infant stage but it is frustrating.

I tried it to teach me some software I even uploaded into it so it would have reference. The only thing I could get it to do was hallucinate then I showed it the screen told it clearly the images and videos I gave it and it said it did and it continued to hallucinate. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe this technology is not there yet. I'd really appreciate your experience if people aren't doing it right show us. Or maybe you can show us a strategy of us teaching the software given enough resources for it to learn and then need to teach us can you do a video on that

I'm curious about what software you were testing. I tested it about 3 times on excel before I recorded. I noticed some discrepancies between tries, sometimes it read things wrong. I tried it on some video editing software and only asked one thing and it was able to find a method. I wondering if it matters on how popular the software is.

I am trying this out, it keeps crashing. I was going to have it walk me through creating a simple todo list program in python. It can't get passed two lines of code without crashing.

If we can do it that way, it's good, isn't it? Building on that, the whole thing can then lead further in many areas...

Thank you; that is amazing tech. I don't think you're out of a job just yet. 😃 A solid KZbin video channel that demonstrates use cases and the benefits of software has value. Just a thought.

This is fascinating, & a bit creepy lol. I see this as a companion to learning, especially for those who want human interaction. An example is how books are now being read while listening & following along with the audio version of that book, creating a more immersive experience. 😊

Also with sharing your screen, if a government’s intel agency have access to to Gemini, wouldn’t they be able to get full access to our computers and so stuff behind the scene?

Leaving comments on KZbin videos can be a great way to engage with the content creator and join the conversation, but it depends on your intent. If you have something thoughtful, constructive, or entertaining to add, go for it! Just keep in mind that KZbin comment sections can sometimes attract negativity, so be prepared for varying responses. If you're feeling uncertain, you can always hold off and reflect before posting.
