Szia Sziszi! How nice is French pronunciation!☺I've studied French only for a year at high school (it was an experimental course) but the teacher was very impressed by my French.🥰 Actually it was easy for me to pronounce it because in my family they had studied that at university, they spoke French frequently, and when i was a child there were often French songs playing at home.🎶..But seriously: speaking French makes you feel intellectual and classy...it's so cool!🙂 It's not like German for instance🙉🙊😅, with all due respect.😇 Ok, i'm sorry, German sounds great🙏❤...if you are a soldier, or a policeman, or a referee, a judge...😂🙈

A magyar nyelv nagyon egyedi. Amiatt nagyon nehéz bármely idegen nyelvet tanítani magyaroknak 🤣. Nincs hasonló nyelve az egész világon. Nagyon jó videó lett. A vendég nagyon jó 😊.

Interesting. A few vowels in French have helped me in Hungarian. I studied French for a lot of years and there are so many words that have been adapted to English. It's not hard to learn. But Hungarian....I have been studying it for years and still cannot speak it. Word order has me totally stumped.

Can I ask how do you study Hungarian? ☺️ I know, that can be a very confusing topic because sometimes it’s flexible, sometimes it’s not, sometimes it changes the meaning a little bit. I think the mindset itself helps a lot just how Anikó said it too. To rather focus on being curious, so trying to listen and analyze sentences from the aspect of the word order instead of trying to learn the “rule” and being frustrated. Of course it’s frustrating sometimes but if it’s 20% being frustrated and 80% being curious, I think that’s already very good 😄

@@HungarianwithSziszi I took lessons at a local church for 11 years. Every year we had a different instructor, but no book and all speaking was conducted in English. This is why I can't speak or listen to Hungarian well. I took your advice and listen to everything I can on KZbin. Now, I am enrolled in HUN 202 at a University and we are forced to speak and listen. Plus we have just learned the past tense. It's a lot to absorb, but I don't give up. Love your podcasts.
