The wire's insulation/coating is made with an oil that contains glucose and rodents are able to smell it. I work in HVAC in the midwest & mice are always getting into machines chewing on wires and zapping themselves/ruining equipment. Could be why the capybaras always go for the wires lol.

That is giant ragweed. The seeds are over 40 percent protein and over 30 percent fat. Horses and cattle love it. I have one dog that eats it and my chickens eat the leaves and seeds too.

I love that uncle Ben’s pets have expensive throw blankets haha he truly is a man who does not care at all about material things and I love that. All the influencer girls have the same chunky knit/crocheted blankets that the kitties have and it’s great. I’m pretty sure we’ve seen a throw blanket start on his bed, then become a nap time animal blanket, then a bathroom habitat full time blanket to an outdoor toilet blanket basically. I don’t know why I’ve noticed that the last few videos or why it makes me so happy but it does.

Hiii! I just wanted to say thank you for all that you do. Definitely are an inspiration. I loved animals way before I found this channel but recently I’ve become more interested. Yesterday I found a family of cats under my car and I couldn’t just leave them. I called animal control and they said they were too busy and if i was able, I could catch them and find homes. And i did. Currently have 1 of the 5 kittens in my room. Your videos opened my eyes to helping animals. And it feels like a gift from whoever above that i found them. What I love about this channel is how it strongly highlights the long, continuous, stressful work that goes into these operations. It's so much more than cuddling cute woodland critters whenever you want - they all have varying health and safety needs that need to be met on a daily basis. You can't just dump a herd of clappys in your backyard for the clout, then ignore them and expect to have a fine time. And they aren't pets - the goal is to release them, or to at least give them a safe place to live out their most normal lives. There's food and water to change and poops to pick up constantly, and sometimes other critters have to die. Animal husbandry is not a flouncy, fanciful wonderland, and I love how Urban Rescue Ranch shows that authentically while still being passionate and having a great time.

I've raised Macropods in the past, when it comes to the porch (even if he's not supposed to be there) i strongly recommend some form of traction control at the top of the stairs that cover the gaps between slats. One of our wallabies got her claw caught leaping from that spot when she skidded on the wood and dislocated her hip.

Walk along your perimeter fence, look for openings, tunnels, or low spots where the fence could potentially be jumped over. Follow tunnels in brush or potential paths Queen could’ve taken. Keep a lookout for white fur stuck to bushes.

When wires are made, they're often made with peanut oil. You'll find they attract random animals. It's a huge issue with goats because they love the smell and yeah, they're goats lol

When I was a kid 300000 years ago, my Dad had a mounted/taxidermy of a Bobcat by a fallen tree limb, chasing two Quail. I think he bought it from someone, as he did not hunt those critters. I had forgotten about it until I saw the Tibby chasing the Quail moments ago. WOW.
