When I started my MA TESOL program in the summer of 2014, I could not find any quality videos on KZbin demonstrating exemplary ESOL teaching. I was about to step back into the ESOL classroom, and I wanted guidance. I could read a book or talk to a professor, but I couldn't see anyone who was giving me TESOL-related advice actually putting the advice into practice. Thanks to Andrew Drummond and his team at Wits, the situation is very different today. As an aspiring TESOL professional, I immensely appreciate these videos. It's one thing to read how ESOL should be taught; it's another to see someone demonstrate, step by step, how a good ESOL lesson comes together. Thank you Andrew Drummond and team! Please keep up your amazing work!

Sir it's very nice videos but it would be better if you can make the audio (i mean your voice) a lil bit louder. So that I can hear your voice clearly. Thank you

The poor sound quality makes it difficult to watch. Fortunately you can turn on the closed captions. I am just wandering if anything can be made or if anybody could fix the sound. It is muffled, it is way too low.

Thank you for all the efforts .. I just have a quick question : what is meant by CCQs !
@Piecemaker_187

They are Closed Clarification Questions. (the question you ask checking understanding of the specific language)
@aunyvomzorro
@aunyvomzorro 4 жыл бұрын
They are Concept Checking Questions. They are used to clarify whether your students understand what was taught in class before moving on to the next part of the lesson. ICQs are Instruction Checking Questions. They are used to make sure that the students understand the instructions that you have given them.

With a few modifications the sentence structures you wrote would be correct if they were formatted as: I am a teacher. I finished my English diploma. Can I take this course to improve myself? So yes, in my opinion, you just have improved your language skills by practicing your writing.
