Isnt this the same Latif that used to play SF4? Its so out of pocket strange to see him play like this but sf4 probably doesnt translate into sf6 play so 🤷 but its great seeing yall like this 💪🏿

Glad Latif is switching to Cammy. JP felt like such a huge departure from Zato and is just so boring to watch lol.

@@Sparda51 I mean there really isn’t any character comparable to Zato in sf6 to be fair. Rush down just feels a bit closer to what I’ve come to expect from Latif as opposed to spamming the same special from full screen the entire match.

@@satorrotas93 I disagree, zato can play almost all styles, he can play rush down mix up, he can play zoner, he can play mid range. It seems like to me you personally like rushdown and find it enjoyable to watch which is fair but comparing Cammy to zato is just not even close. Cammy is closer to giovanna which makes sense because that’s the archetype that Akaraien likes to play. To me Latif likes technical characters. He played c viper in sf4 and zato in guilty gear. There isn’t that many in sf6 imo that fit that yet at least where it’s more effective then playing a basic style.

@@Sparda51 We can agree that there is no character in sf6 that comes close to Zato in terms of play style or technicality. However, I still think Zato’s play style is closer to rushdown than to zoner. Sure, he can zone against characters like Nago or GL, but his optimal play style is locking you down from mid screen with Eddie and then mixing you to death in the corner. JP’s play style is almost entirely based on area denial. The most technical shit he can do is mix you with his lvl. 2 super. The rest of the time he’s just mixing up the timing on his floor spikes.

I’ve seen to many zato zone with things like pierce and invite hell, while playing mid range with moves like 2S or even 2P into RC etc….on any character not just Nago/Gold Lewis. Sure after he hits you and knocks you down he can mix but he has to get those hits. Your only talking about rushdown in Oki sense not neutral etc. both giovanna and Cammy whiff punish you or use fuck neutral tools/movement to rush in and get in with their fast movement. Cammy and zato are not similar in playstyle at all.
