You are correct that approaching Honda is difficult. The range just outside of sweep is the correct spot to play it. Once you get Honda down though, you should stay on him. He has no real wake ups outside of supers. His armor headbutt isn't throw immune. I main Honda, that is his biggest weakness. Cammy can destroy him once she is in. I think Cammy does well against Honda. 5-5 is fair but I would say she wins.

I think there are a lot of matchup like this. Matchups where one character is considered losing, but only because they're unwilling to use the clock. High speed or unique mobility characters like Chipp or Zato, the clock should be a resource to them. Zato/Chipp/Faust vs Nago/Pot/GL would be 9-1 matchups if those characters just took a lifelead and ran away hiding in the top corner of the screen where they cant be interacted with. Negative penalty is really nothing.

but this strat is not gonna work in strive because strive has way more faster gameplay also if somebody runs toward u gains meter for example gl gonna do beam from fullscreen of running toward ur ass all the time gaining free meter now ur in a bad condition to guess a high and low typhoon or crossup mixup basically ur giving free meter to ur opponent and urself losing meter because of negative penalty and meter means a world in strive as u know

Playing like this there's no reason for him to be playing cammie at all. Most Cammie's don't play like this because the people who play like this aren't playing Cammie, cuz she's not good at this.
