Blessed are the ones that sat there listening to God's son But blessed more are those that have not seen yet believe that Jesus is the Son of God and our lord and savior. Blessed a million times more are the ones that never met jesus in the flesh but have believed that Jesus resurrected on the 3rd day , ascended to heaven and now sits right next to God.

Thats the time the lord chooses the 12 disciples and gives the authority to heal and cast out demons in other words you can't just perform exorcisms without that authority and I believe the authority was passed down to the church fathers of catholic and orthodox since the other early christian churches Fathers were destroyed, killed and persecuted so only two remains and surviving.
