feels like these floats set ups have been around since the beginning of time , must admit i do like the slots for the glow sticks thats a nice little touch and better than trying to elastic band some around it

It would be great if you show a vid of the set up in action. Do you use chum to attract fish or just bait the hook ?
@VealsMailOrder28987 ай бұрын
Yes, chum/shirvy is brilliant for attracting fish to your bait

Do you not find that fishing with the weight locked in has a better hookup rate than a sliding lead?
@VealsMailOrder28987 ай бұрын
It doesn’t really make a huge difference in my experience, but it’s good to experiment

Im a beginner .. the mainline to swivel and beyond is same size to hook?
@VealsMailOrder28987 ай бұрын
Yes, you can use the same breaking strain line.

If it's a 20g float would I need a 20g lead and so on for heavier floats etc.
@VealsMailOrder28984 ай бұрын
@@andysmith3125 yes, that is correct

Hello just wondering do you not recommend the elastic band for the stop ?
@VealsMailOrder28987 ай бұрын
You can do, but powergum is more reliable

Plus you can reel a stop knot in onto the reel and cast it to fish deep at long range
