I use bb 2 and 4 steel shot on any duck. Usually bb knocks the smaller ducks like teal dead. Bismuth I will try shot 5 and 6.

Do you guys find it odd that some states don't have a dedicated "teal season"? How would you guys prep for that? It seems like some places is like , ready, set, ALL DUCK SEASON GO!!!

I wish more states would have them as well as having a wood duck season combo.

The BOSS guys recommend a tighter choke than what you typical use for steel. You might not get optimum patterns with an IC, I plan to use my Mid-Range Carlson’s but was recommended to use a Long-Range instead. I’m going to try Mid-Range first. I’ve seen a lot of guys including Brandon and Justin recommend factory full choke for BOSS.

Close range Teal at 10 yards there is no need to go that tight. I would always suggest doing your own pattern testing for your giving style and scenario. I do agree that going a step up from what you are use to is a good idea with bismuth though 👍

2 3/4 is fine for 12 gauge I like 3 inch for 20
