I think its super sad that you have to be an Iris Patreon member to get an opportunity to buy your journals. They are always so beautiful. I'm glad you are still making content for us non Patreon members. I know this is your full time job, but Patreon in general has been really frustrating for us viewers who can't afford to be members, especially when we hear over and over all we are missing out on.

She is an amazing artist for sure! But there are many junk journal makers (myself included) and there are so many available to be bought on Etsy and different websites! Don't be discouraged!

I totally understand how you feel, I used to feel this way myself. I have been following Martyna’s KZbin channel for a few years now. She is a super talented artist and a wonderful, kind, person who is following her dream and sharing with us a lot of info and inspiration. She used to work on a corporate job which didn’t allow her to share as many videos as she is sharing now. Not long ago she took the leap to make her art her full time job. Because of her hard work developing digital kits, KZbin content and the support from folks on Patreon she can continue providing a lot of free content, affordable digital kits and often she gives freebies with her KZbin videos to everyone. When I stop to think about it, I realized if it wasn’t for the support she receives (subscribing to channel, liking and commenting in videos, Etsy and Patreon, etc) we would all lose because she would not have time to film videos if she had to work another job. I am on a strict budget myself and I made some changes on what I used to spend on to be able to join Patreon. I don’t regret, if fact what I do regret is not joining sooner, the value you receive for what your invest is more than I’ve seem other artists do….. the short time I got to joined I noticed she always shares above and beyond what we expect. Also, whether her journals are advertised first on Patreon or Etsy, it is VERY hard to purchase one….. her work is so unique and beautiful that the journals sell instantly. I tried many times to get one on Etsy but missed every time by just seconds. It is like hundreds of people are “snipping” her shop and ready to “place on cart - pay”. All of this makes her art even more precious and rare.

@@shinybreesilver3264 thank you for your constructive feedback. Over the past few years I’ve been extremely grateful for KZbin and all the amazing artists on it . I swear crafting along has helped me keep my sanity. I remember the video where Martina introduced herself for the first time with her face on camera and not her hands. I will definitely still watch and I can’t help myself from getting her kits. I’ll try to look at Patreon from a new perspective. 💕🙏🏽

@@kimberlyroveredo9137 yeah check it out…. Patreon does not require long term commitment, you can sign up for just a month if you don’t think the content is what you expected. Even if you are just there for a month, what you get from the “printable tier” more than pays for the investment. Martyna already posted tons of printables including the entire fairy kit and add on….. the printables are so beautiful, they will make your heart sing….. happy craft ❤️
