KZbin Comment Brawler Hi, I think that's a common problem for scanners! And it is not a problem in fact. If it's your case... (I'd have to know a lil bit more about what kind of decisions you cannot stick with, so as my answer can make sense to you) then you might be experiencing the multipotentiality within yourself, and therefore you tend to create and live in multidimensions. It's one of the things I've long struggled with... until I found a solution. It's like I was born without the ability to distinguish between right and left. I always found x logics why an opinion is bad, and z arguments why is it good same time. :D

BTW, I'ts hard to stick with decision because it seems right in one moment, and when I decide, I start seeing all the downsides of that choice, and all the upsides of the choice I didn't choose :(

That has a lot more to do with discipline than indecisiveness... having vision is so important, it gives meaning to taking a decision, it makes the process a lot easier...

It gets better. You just have to find what gives you purpose and happiness again. Remember you left for a reason. It will always be a part of you, but we all have to move on at some point. Teal, this was so very helpful! What a wonderful way to deal with the dilemma of making decisions! I would, however, suggest that indecision may not always come from childhood but simply from the fact that there, in fact, are consequences to our decisions. If I choose to stay home, one set of possibilities is presented, if I choose to go to a coffee shop and hang out, another set of possibilities is presented. And not knowing the actual result of the action - whether I will meet someone amazing if I leave the house or if I will have a spark of creative genius if I stay home - is what causes the stress. And that's where the advice to focus on the outcome you want and the answer will become clear comes in. Love that!

Trauma is real. Im glad that we can explore the past for more understanding. Fear is real because it was probably experienced before. It's difficult for people to go to the worse case scenario but it helps.

This has helped me understand the painful position I was in for such a long time. It drained and ate away at me for months because I didn't know which road to take..but my intuition told me leave from the very beginning. It is so painful to think about it because when I was in school I used to get so humilated because I used to get low grades and I remember when I was in Grade 3 how scared I was because they to beat us the ones that failed I still remember that harsh wood stick they used to beat us with... and on another hand I got abused and made fun of a lot at home especially from a sibling who is 14 years older than me. I am 37 now I've been doing therapy for so long... I see how successful people are but I am not. It breaks my heart because I've tried to break free for so long and I still haven't accomplished my purpose, or had a relationship that I wanted and all I wanted was lots of love and even feeling lonely not even having friends that care much... But I've been watching you Teal since 1 year ago and you are the only one who really makes me feel hope.

I did get trapped for 10 years by a financial decision and now again more financial decisions that I made that now have me feeling like okay I don’t know what’s good until I take a leap and needed to not get into things that have no reversal. thank you teal. ive felt very lost, but binge watching your videos has awakened me to why I feel lost. its made me aware of the grips of abuse from my parents and especially my mom. Ive been following the traditional route of getting a degree but now I know that my real dream is to travel the world alone (maybe with a spouse one day! hehe). I still want school but not in the way first planned. I was going to be an art therapist... and I still will be but in form of my own business rather than working under a boss/industry. having so many pangs of clarity mixed with the fear of the immensity of these decisions. I know its my solid choices but it requires planning and for me to sit with it before I go telling too many people yet!
