Idk if something happened during a previous episode or if it was just for the 1000th episode of Impact (even though it was like 16mi away from the Bronx, the Avenue leading to the Venue originates from the Bx-Westchester border). Quite oftenly, bigger names play face in their hometown areas even though they're heels everywhere else. But I missed him playing a face as well.

Remember that WWE bought the rights to ECW back in the day, and made good $ on the DVDs in the 2000s. Also, they might've sold the Dudley name TM to WWE at some point (like Cena sold his name).

The Dudley Boyz are vintage. Great segment at the wrong time. If Bully Ray is a heal and is playing the king of pricks every other week on Impact and then he comes out as a babyface with his tag partner for one night, then it damages the illusion No one has a better relationship with the crowds then the Dudley Boyz
