Spoiler: . Momoshiki takes over borutos body whenever boruto loses conscious or runs out of chakra. Momoshiki chose boruto as his vessel, so thats why momoshiki can manifest himself using borutos body.

No, they are not "teamed up". Boruto and Momoshiki HATE each other, and at the moment, Boruto does not even realise that Momoshiki is controlling him. At the moment, Momoshiki can only manifest if Boruto loses consciousness or becomes weak through losing a large amount of chakra. Boro nearly killed Momoshiki's vessel, and of course that pissed him off. Momoshiki only sees Boruto as a way to come back from the dead, a means to an end, that's all. He doesn't care for him or anyone else.
