Great video on a car I own. I would argue that this car in competent hands would hold its own against anything more expensive even by TA. It’s not far removed from racer’s previous cars and it’s very tunable. I can agree it’s a great beginner car but I would say if you like this platform, which I do better than mid-motor cars, it’s easier to tune for different track setups. The biggest thing I did for my car was upgrade to 13mm threaded shocks f/r and change the pinion and spur to match track setups. This turned the car into quite the racer. Granted the “pros” have to use what the companies want to promote but most that I have talked to still love this layout of rear motor. Plus I find that parts are more abundant due to the shared platforms from TA. Either way more content on this car is nice to see. Thank you.

You are so right! (illiteracy) I would smoke this guy with this car stock no matter how much he thinks he can upgrade it.

A worthy upgrade to the stock shocks is the addition of bleeder caps from the B5/B6 cars. Use part number 91814 to make refilling or reassembling much easier. Love the RB10! ❤

Given that the RB10 is an RTR B4, it should come out of the box as a very neutral and planted buggy. As you mentioned, great for a beginner to learn how to drive with.

It’s actually a B5 with the wider chassis of the B4.

Awesome video guy's, I have been running my rb10 at millend Rcc. It has been quite competitive against more expensive buggies. It suits the track, and practice is helping too 😂

Losi have just announced 2 Losi 8ight rtr's and they seem a great option for 1/8 racing for beginners. Buggy and a Truggy.

Yup, got the buggy a few weeks ago and it’s a ripper on a dirt track for sure! 😎🤘 probably pick up the truggy too because why the hell not

The + offset spring cups help a lot in the rear. There is not a lot of shock body to put the preload clips on. Also, it's relatively low geared, so a bigger pinion gear speeds it up nicely without any heat issues. Overall, I completely agree it is a great beginner buggy

I have the RB10 and just got the RO 1.0 last week. I ran the RO 1.0 on a carpet track and it was AWESOME for an RTR (FOR AN RTR). I am going to setup my RB10 for carpet and test next week.

Them stock shocks are leakers. Only downside to these models.
