I love these running videos, nothing really captures my attention like a camera following a rc around a track with a decent driver. Pure bliss, can I request you to make more? :D

Thanks RCGuy! Yeah, it's great to show these running videos, most of the time, it's tough to get these shot unless I have a buddy with me

That was cool and nice driving Rich looked like you had it dialed in.

+Shayen RC Enthusiast. It was pretty close - just learning that new layout and ended up dialing the pinion down

nice, much better than i could do. watching me run on a track is like watching someone play pinball.

+humble rc I'm right there with you! I'm def not an expert driver

Thank you for this running video, well done. My local track will be closed because it's outside and it rained to much.
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Stefan Schluppeck Thanks for watching Stefan - Yeah it's nice to have an indoor venue - Are you near the EOC? - I'm assuming it's by Nurburgring
@StefanSchluppeck8 жыл бұрын
+The RCNetwork unfortunately it is a 6½ hour trip by car to reach the Nürburgring (Nordschleife). I'm still in the training to be competitive against other 2WD driver. And tomorrow is the final race of the German Mini Offroad Series. We drive 1/14 scale 4WD Mini Buggy's, at my local track in the north of Hamburg. My plan for tomorrow is to finish in 3rd. Wish me luck.

Little did you know, that in a few years, most tracks would be closed due to a flu season being used as a political weapon.

Awesome vid rich, cool that they let you run 8th scale on a 10 scale track, awesome track!! :)
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+South Coast rc Yeah, OCRC is very careful as to who they let on the track with an 1/8th scale. If you display that you don't have control of your buggy, they'll pull you off
hi richie, i have the same kit. but i suffer from 'shock rod end' poping out (and it happens to different one each time) every time the car flip a little beat hard. very frustrating, mybe you heard about it?! and have any solution? please help...
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Yechi Molahi I haven't had that issue - and you saw how rough I was on it learning this new layout at OCRC. Contact Team Associated's CS and ask - They're always willing to right a wrong and send parts out to fix an issue if that's the case

Nice video rich! Car looks great jumps great too. Too bad they banned 1/8 scales on our indoor track .
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+JAMMIN RC Thanks Jr. Yeah, OCRC gives a raised eyebrow to every 1/8th scale that enters the track. If you display an uncontrollable vehicle, they'll yank you
@ChandlerThomasvoon1008 жыл бұрын
it seems a little loose on some of the corners or is it just me? it handles well though. Track is in amazing cindition!
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Chandler Thomas Yeah a bit too much motor for that layout.....the last layout at OCRC this set up was great. This layout is a bit more tight and technical

Okay Rich, I'm debating Losi or team Assoc? I don't have a close track but do have a dirt lot so am thinking a 4wd buggy for that small area. Developers are taking away all of my driving places around here which sucks.
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Anthony Eaglebarger (toysoldier46552) Team Associated def.! I've never been a fan of the TLR 8ight platform - I've driven the 2.0 last and didn't like at much as my Tekno and AE buggies
@toysoldier465528 жыл бұрын
The RCNetwork Cool! I just need something that will not fall apart first run, it gets expensive.
@StefanSchluppeck8 жыл бұрын
+Anthony Eaglebarger (toysoldier46552) I'll like the Xray XB8, because it's easy to get replacement parts. Here in Germany ;-) For me the main reason to choose a car, is the availability of replacement parts. Support your local hobby shop and buy there. So you'll have all the time support.
@toysoldier465528 жыл бұрын
Stefan Schluppeck Well we here in the United States as always have a lot of options and parts readily available. I realize other countries are limited, mainly due to importing laws.
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Stefan Schluppeck Unfortunately, Local hobby shops are a dying breed in my area. And I live in a heavily populated RC vendor area. 2 have recently closed and the last two have little to no stock.

Can a reedy m3 4.5t work In the slash with the vxl-3s and is a Savox 1256 a good servo for the slash 4x4
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Kaleb Moore The M3 4.5t will bolt into the Slash, but honestly is the wrong motor for the slash. If you're gonna stick with the VXL 3s esc - you'll never take advantage of the sensored portion of the m3 or the potential to run 3s. As for the 1256 - Go for the 1258tg. It has plenty of torque for the slash and is lightening quick at .08 sec

+FILTHY5150RC Yeah, it's like a teenager on 3 Rockstars......I ended up dropping a couple teeth on the pinion

+thecman26 Yeah, I had a bit of power there! lol
@Sleepy.Time.8 жыл бұрын
almost looks like to much motor for that size track, having a hard time not blowing past the corner apex
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
+Sleepy .Time Yeah, it is a bit too much motor - I had it set up for a wide open outdoor track...after this run, I dialed the pinion back
