Team Associated T6.4 Build Review

My build review of the Team Associated T6.4 Kit. If I had any issues ring my build, they are recapped in the video if you didn't watch the build series. As much as I gripe about the kit not coming with the gear differential or body like other brands, the truck is an absolute blast to drive. Very forgiving, great cornering speed, and super plush suspension with the 13mm shocks.

They are like a less agile buggy with big shoes on. It’s a really forgiving vehicle and a buggy is not forgiving. I hated it at first but I love it now. You can make more mistakes and not wreck.

Ayyy, I knew I recognized that body! I've been meaning to get out to the track and dust off my old t4.2 not sure it will do that well on carpet but I'll still give it a shot! Probably get this kit from moe too!

You should definitely bring out the old T4.2! I'd love to see it run! The truck class is steadily growing. I'm always there on off-road days to make the class. The trucks are so much fun to drive. Much more forgiving than 2WD and 4WD buggy.

What's a good shock oil weight for my T6.4 on off road indoor carpet?

Thanks for the series! I build one myself, but can't get the rear lower than 20mm with standard shocks & springs. I wonder how you got it to 16.

Your electronics package may vary from mine, so the weight can be different. I'm running a Hobbywing XR10 Justock ESC and a Protek 4800 Lipo. I have the battery in the 4 position (page 21 of the manual). But one thing to help lower the rear is to lay down the read shocks. So all the way out on the bottom, and all the way in at the top. Hope that helps!

Can I give u a suggestion tip on that I no some AE team drivers out in California Victorville ca coyote hobbies raceway that’s my local track as well they run the rear and front buggy shock towers including the rear and front buggy shock shafts we run the track sealed (glue) so if this helps .😁👍
