When he lost his father and decided he wanted some peace. He was broken hurt. He decided to go back to the past to feel some peace. When he came back he accidentally changed alot of things like Cisco's brother being dead. Cisco blamed him. When Oliver accidentally killed felicity,s boyfriend they were all there for him.
