Maybe because Dean kept saying it over and over every new Tuesday, and it was like a signpost for how done with the world Sam was growing in that time loop, lol. That whole episode is just a stroke of genius.

Haha, yes! There was a Misha interview somewhere (I sadly can't remember where or when) where he said he was actually eating all of that stuff and was starting to feel sick from it when they were doing many takes of the same scene. Then Jensen took him aside to tell him the actors don't actually have to swallow all of that food, they usually just chew and then spit it out after the scene, if I remember that interview correctly.

Cas and I have something in common. Love raw hamburger! 'Course I grew up with steak tar tar which is essentially raw hamburger with things mixed in and it's spread on crackers. I've never gotten sick off raw hamburger. Mmmmm.

From what I know, they only chew the food for the camera, then spit it out as soon as the camera is not on them. Otherwise they'd probably get sick of burgers very fast, haha.
