En el kata, algunos movimientos estaban como flojos. El bunkai no está mal, solo algunos detalles demasiado anticipados que hacen que en una pelea real las técnicas no sean muy efectivas.

Succesful performance. The ones who don't like their performance are also the ones who don't know the kata and bunkai in a championship. Three person acts in a synchron. Why? To show the techniques is the easiest part. A white belt can do it, too. Here you actually make a show. Points are for aesthetics and spirit feeling. If you make a good show in bunkai, it is a good bunkai in a championship. That is not course. That is not dojo. That is not kumite. That is tatemi. That is a show.

Good synchronization but crooked shoulders on some punches, daylight on the reaction arms, and so-and-so kicks.

Why is always shotokan and shito ryu?

Am I the only one who thinks their bunkai is awful? I mean, totally invented, three quarters of the moves shown aren't actually present in the kata. I know this is usual to be seen in sport bunkai, but that doesn't mean it's good. Also, i prefer there's only one who defends and the others who attacks, and that they do not switch turns. This way, everybody can have his moment of glory, and it's usual to be seen in kanku sho, since it's very difficult to practice the bunkai to begin with, but it doesn't sound right anyway.

Exactly my thoughts! Not only three quarters aren‘t present in the kata, there are way too many moves or techniques shown that have no function at all in terms of defending or attacing imho. Aesthetically their performance is superb, but imo it has nothing in common with realistic fighting.

I get where you all are coming from but compare this with the 2016 wkf world championship finals performance of france and you might think this is the 'most kata true' bunkai ever^^ really in comparison these guys did the kata, I can clearly see almost every technique. sure there are additional -and maybe unnecessary- kicks and throws but I think this here was in an acceptable quantity compared to alot of other world championship bunkais I have seen.

Bunkai senza senso. Finto e tecnicamente scadente. Nuoto senz'acqua.
