Krystal was annoying and partially ignorant as hell but Vanessa was annoying as hell too. They were all annoying, actually. The only person from this season who never got on my nerves was Chicky. Idesha was an idiot, Fallon was too sweating JT's wack self. Andres and JT both gave me will hit a woman but won't touch a man vibes. Willie was funny but he gave follower energy. Chicky was the only one who was tolerable.

​​​​​Well, in LA we do have Caribbean people here.I just think they didn't choose Caribbean.American kids to represent for California because we have caribbeans and African here (and their 1st and 2nd gens) and even back then too because i'm one of them. They chose black american kids even though some of them were from inglewood , which is where most of the Belizeans are, they didn't chose belizean American kids and they probably didn't interact much with ppl outside their American culture. But I do agree though new york and miami kids probably would have been more open minded. Even after the season we saw j.T n willie at the belizean/Jamaican afrerhours in LA And they had a good time and wasn't on that hater issue once they got away from them girls. They was dancing with belizean girls all night catching vibes so all.that hateful stuff they was saying on that show was cap. Virgin Islander here! This season came out when I was 9-10 and I remember it getting a lot of press at the time, ESPECIALLY when that fight went down. I had two older cousins at the time who were super into the show and I was with them watching a rerun of the fight episode. Like many, I am also Team Vanessa but I can also somewhat understand why she was chosen to leave the house, even if I'm still unsure if I would have made that same decision if I was a producer. It's hard to give fair criticism to Vanessa without brushing up against respectability politic rhetoric but i think we can at least agree that writing a whole song about how you wanna kill someone is so out of pocket. Even if it was a venting mechanism why would you share it??? And as a Crucian, the way everyone just switched up on Andres did nof sit well with me, but leave it to Vanessa, the only other Crucian in the crew to have his back. We love to see it. So, after this season aired, the board of trustees for UVI was PISSED at the end product but like... what were they expecting? You weren't approached by people wanting to make a documentary. They wanted to make a REALITY show. A reality show that already had 3 seasons under their belt for you to see the kind of show they had in mind, and honestly? The vast majority of the mess came from the Cali kids anyway. None of the VI kids were gaslighting their girlfriends into breaking up so they could cheat guilt free. Just sayin.

Same I’m from St. Thomas. I live in the states now but I was in my last 3 months of middle school when this aired. I used to tune in every week. The fight between Vanessa and Krystal was iconic. Vanessa was definitely connecting those hits until Krystal pulled out that heel. I’m Team Vanessa not just because I’m a fellow island girl but Krystal needed that asswhooping. Talking all that 💩 and expecting not to get hit. I couldn’t stand her. She was annoying af and so xenophobic towards our people. I was pissed when Vanessa was sent home. But I understand why. Krystal had an opportunity that so many people would enjoy. Being on a beautiful island with warm sandy beaches and gorgeous actual blue waters. Literally Brewers Bay is right there down the street. One of my favorite College Hill seasons. Ugh, you really had to be there! I do wish we could get a reunion or a where are they now special. Like how do Krystal and Vanessa feel about each now after all these years? 😭 Back then and even now I understood Vanessa’s anger and why she blew up. She charged at Krystal and gave her business, Krystal knew Vanessa was behind her because she could hear her shouting. Krystal decided to cowardly pick up a heel and hit Vanessa with it. Krystal is the one that’s lucky Vanessa’s injuries weren’t fatal because she would have been serving time. I live in los angeles and originally from california and after the show we saw JT and willy at the belizean Jamaican afterhours RIGHT after this show. So all that ignorant stuff they were talking about was all cap.And they was dancing up on belizean girls all night mackin' HARD AF. They were the only ones that decided to open their mind.Of course.We didn't see any of the ladies there not surprised. Half of them are from inglewood which is where most of 🇧🇿 are, They must have been really sheltered and only dealt with their own, didn't venture out much.
