Why not? Ødegaard has created most chances from open play, played most through balls, and played the most riskiest passes (yes, an actual stat) with considerably higher passing success rate than his competitors, that's pretty significant, especially when another playmaker had previously declared that you can't create chances with a higher passing success rate

Gordon should be LW, Foden in CAM over Odegaard easily. Agree with everyone else, potentially Vicario over Martinez and Porro over White.

The team is very good. The only 2 I don’t agree with are palmer and foden. Not because they don’t as they have been truly amazing and well deserved to be there but the positions they have been put in is not a position they play in yes they play there but for the majority of the season they have played in the CAM role and it is there they are most effective.

Ødegaard is ahead of Bruno in chances created in open play and most accurate through balls, Bruno is ahead of Ødegaard in terms of chances created only because he takes corner kicks

Odegaard has created more chances from open play than bruno.... Also he has more expected assists than bruno which means the chances he has created have been of higher quality... He has the least amount of possession lost and highest pass accuracy by a country mile from any other notable playmakers so overall he has just been clear of any player in similar role... Kdb would be there if he had played like 60% of season

@@raidenafc6576Here’s some stats: (PL only) Odegaard - 8 goals, 8 assists, 3008 minutes played KDB - 4 goals, 10 assists, 1137 minutes played. That’s 2 less GA in almost 2000 less minutes. They are not even the same type of player, but KDB is clearly levels ahead. Odegaard is more similar to Bernardo than he is either Bruno or KDB.
